CustomRobo for the GameCube. It's sort of like Pokemon where you collect stuff to battle, but also not, because you can get parts and guns to further change the way you play. Some guns shoot 3 bullets at the same time, some are like gatling guns, some home and some are just odd and let you shoot bees or drills.
You then have different legs upgrades. Some make you jump higher, further or land quicker or slower and so on. Then there are "pods" which can be a lot of different types of guns. Some are mortars, some slowly go across the map and seek out targets while others just stay still and act like mines.
The story is interesting and fairly unique. The dialogue is like Banjo-Kazooie, but instead of random noises it's different pitched beep noises. It sounds like it would be bad, but it's not. It works well enough to where you can judge their basic voice, tone and speed at which they talk. The writing is pretty good from what I remember and it even has some 4th wall breaking jokes. I recommend checking it out if you have a GameCube a Wii still.
What are other games you think are underrated?

2 RepliesKingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. TRAGICALLY underrated, which killed the series. Phantasy Star Online 2. A pain to get started, but damn it's a good game

1 ReplyNier automata. Maybe its not underrated but definetley overlooked. Many people see it as another “sexy anime butts game” when its really not. I personally don’t watch anime, and Nier automata is one of my favorite games. It’s fun combat, but a nihilistic and deep story, which brought me to tears sometimes. And the ending gave me mega depression. Check it out if ya will.

1 ReplyFor me, underrated is not the same as unknown. With that said... Nier: Automata. Despite over 2 million sales, this game is still looked at as "just another weeb game", when it's simply a work of art. I also think fighting games are underrated in the sense that they have more depth than most gamers will ever give them credit for.

3 RepliesLately, there’s two games I’ve been playing a lot. Castlevania: SotN, and Legend of the Dark Witch. Most people already know Castlevania, so I’ll talk about the second one. Legend of the Dark Witch is a trilogy of games on the 3DS inspired by Mega Man. Like Mega Man, you can play most of the stages in any order, and every boss you defeat gives you a new power. Unlike Mega Man, each power operates on a singular ammo source; Tres. Tres is probably the game’s most interesting twist. See, you get Tres for beating enemies, and lose Tres when taking damage. As previously mentioned, this Tres is your ammo supply for your powers, giving a nice incentive to use them rather than take a hit—you’ll lose more Tres by getting hit than casting a Dio Missile, after all. But, Tres also has another function. See, Zizou can spend a large amount of Tres to increase her speed, power, or hover time—upgrades which are lost on death. This gives you a gradual increase in power, and mobility, as the stage goes on, and if you manage to survive all the way, also gives you a huge advantage on the boss. Super fun. I wish they’d port the trilogy over to Switch, and sell it for $25 or so.

2 RepliesEdited by djtanng: 8/24/2018 9:50:25 PMHalo Reach in 2018. It holds a steady population to this day and could always use more. Many consider it the worst Halo. For those who originally traded it in soon after launch, I think they should go back and revisit and re-examine it for what it is now and how it turned out.

4 RepliesEdited by f3line: 8/21/2018 10:01:33 PMOxenfree. Now I love my Halo and my Elder Scrolls and my Guitar Hero as much as, (probably more than), the next guy, but this game had me thinking about it for weeks. The gameplay is smooth, the music great, and the story intriguing. The action in this game is pretty much nonexistent, however, the characters and relationship building, and the overall atmosphere just bring this game together for me. One of the best feelings I’d had in a long while was when I woke up early one Saturday when my family was off doing errands and such. I made some coffee, some biscotti, and finished the game. Made me feel all warm and fuzzy. (Yes, I made friends with everyone.)
