Striker titan

Since the apparent speed boost earlier in the year weren't strikers supposed to move faster? Well, they don't it's still super slow. You can't even catch a Hunter if he is running away, seems i get shot out of the super seriously quickly, whereas the arcstrider hunter has r1 spammed to you, killed you, r1 spammed to your next spawn and killed you again and still has super energy left to keep dodging around. Balance ?

  • Hunter mains, wipe away the salad dressing from your fingers, fold away that "I'm a vegan" t shirt and accept that your whole class has been developed to be an OP crutch class for children under 10.

    • Dune Marchers Yes Guardian? Dune Marchers Best Exotic for Rift, That is why they will never bring rift back. We can go so much faster without a super than any other class. Anyway, fix the Titan's Supers hit detection and that solves about 50%-70% of the bitching. ( its my main complaint besides the barricade being to slow

        • Ima keep it real with you Chief, I tried my titan in IB last night after playing hunter exclusively for all of D2 and it felt like a cake walk. Especially sunbreaker. Pro tip: melting point shoulder charge into a group of enemies while wearing ACD/0 feedback fence and they all commit suicide. Striker could use a damage buff, not a speed buff though.

          I really want the slam animation to be faster and have knockback resistance at least. Makes it actually worth using on bosses in PvE because otherwise they'll slam the ground and launch you away, wasting Super energy. Also, I don't recall if this was proved or not, but energy weapons do increased damage to Supers (don't know if it's element specific if true though). In any case, more damage resistance to Striker would be nice since it's requiring you go get in close which isn't easy in some maps.

              • Seriously it doesn't matter what super you have; dawnblade, sentinel, striker, arkstrider, you can catch anyone as long as they aren't skating it just takes time. Don't expect to catch someone quickly when you are only going like 10% faster. All supers have their ups and downs. Strikers get to panic slam 5 guardians in a room and run off.

                • With that said, please keep in mind that fist of panic initial slam and landfall are both OHK's against supers, so you do have that going for you currently.

                • You can still run from poledancer, though I only find myself able when playing a warlock and boost jumping with Transversive Steps. As for panic slam and ticklefingers, when watching some Forsaken gameplay, the a havoc titan's run speed while super is active looked significantly faster, and ticklefingers in in for a pretty susbstantial buff. So hold out for just another week or 2 guys and gals, big changes are coming.

                • I don't care what anyone says arcstrider is too good. I don't want to say op because this is how all arc supers should be. Neither slam or storm can come close to arc strider. I main a titan and hate to admit in some ways hunters can be better. I do find my titan is faster then my hunter and warlock.

                  • Got outran by a Hunter backpedaling away from me in my Super. Meanwhile I got chased down by an Arcstrider Super like that video of the Cheetah chasing a Gazelle.

                    • Just wait until we can launch ourselves like a ballistic missile at them, id like to see them out run that... Though odds are they'll just jump over it like they can do with anything else but still complain that its over powered.

                      • I feel like a small speed bonus and a major damage increase is needed. Especially the higher you activate Striker slam, the more damage and the bigger radius.

                        • It blows my mind how Striker has far less movement options than Arcstrider but they still have the same armor. If Striker doesn't have speed, it needs more armor. Seeing as everyone says Titans aren't supposed to be fast.

                          • The smash is weak af. I tested it yesterday in private matches and i wasnt able to one shot an arctrider. The initial smash dont oneshot supers, rhe shockwave is required to one shot. You are slow and predictable as a striker And a sunbreaker does his job better. Smash used to be the ultimate counter to supers that are able to move, now we dont have any reason to use it besides playing something different

                                • They matched all supers speed with striker. Because striker was 3x faster than other supers before that.

Balance ?[/quote] The problem is how you play. Arcstriders and strikers have the same speed cap, so if you are being out ran, you are not running at the cap. As far as getting killed fast. It is the same for all melee supers arcblade included. When you activate a super and charge in you are going to get killed. Attack from the side or close enough that they dont have a chance to kill you. If an arcstrider charges at me like you described they are dead too, and I stuck at pvp. In the end you can't balance players.

                                  • They play very differently. Striker can activate the super reactively and defensively. It attacks on activation. Arc strider can’t reliably activate reactively or defensively. The start up time usually gets you killed. So you either activate from behind cover or from in the air on a successful flank. That is why arcstrider can last longer and be balanced. Also for striker, spamming slam eats up the super very quickly. Try using the single target attack on it more. I run the non lingering AoE tree and it can last a very long time if you don’t waste slams. Kill extend the duration + unlimited slams so long as every slam gets a kill.

                                    Please. Should every ult of titan be OP in any situations? My god, every ult of titan last seriously long and their tanky AF. And than i don't even speak about the healing when getting an kill. Arcstrider on Hunter is pretty strong indeed. Butt Titan doesn't need (more) buffs.
