It's made even worse by the fact that we have to win 5 crucible games on the second/rekindled tier. A vast majority of people will opt in with, "Oh it's only 5 crucible games it's not that bad!" but every single game is a coinflip as to whether or not if I'm going to win or not. It's frustrating to play my best and then look at the scoreboard and see three people on my 6s team with a sub 1.00 kda. Why is it that I try so hard to suffer from matchmaking blunders, I'm at the complete mercy of matchmaking if I'll have a favorable match. Yeah, it's only five wins, yeah it'll be over soon. But that frustrating and sour impression of Crucible is enough to dissuade me from ever touching it until Bungie seriously considers fixing the vast amount of problems that are currently plaguing it. It's the entire difference between something that, at most, should only take one hour, ends up taking upwards to three plus -blam!-ing hours because of how inconsistent cooperation and teamwork are. I'm exclusively a PvE player because of the shitshow that is PvP, with people always running around with the same rotation of guns, having people legitimately AFK because we're down 5 points, grouping against stacked groups (4s or 6s) or any other sort of fun-sucking experience that's the Crucible. My KDA isn't the best in the world honestly, but I try my best because I want to get through with crucible objectives. But there's a huge difference between numerical ticks, like those of getting super kills or power weapon kills, to those that require things entirely out of the individual player's control (the win condition). I literally had a teammate who was AFK, sitting in the corner because we were down 5 points like I said above. What could I do about that? "Oh well that's the game!" No, -blam!- that. That would be like going in to a restaurant with your boys, everyone orders something except for one -blam!-ing guy who decides he's going to drop a massive deuce for 30 minutes. -- and this restaurant doesn't let you carry on with your business until everyone's ordered. No really, I hate the PvP content in this game. It needs to be addressed this Fall with Forsaken in some way, shape or form. In its current state it just is not an alluring, captivating or exhilarating experience.
