Petition to make bungie stop making us play crucible.
I’m honestly sick of every update requiring me to play crucible. It wouldn’t be bad if crucible didn’t suck complete ass.
Like all I want to do is get my solstice armor upgraded. But no, I have to play your god awful crucible to do so.

I don't have fun playing . I jumped in to give it a shot but after spawning in and being killed before I could even move 3x in a row I remembered that it's trash and definitely not worth the reward .

Signed. I'm Ok with Crucible if matchmaking is intact, but it's not. Weak players' only defense is not to play, and Bungie's taken that away from them.

Words fail me when when it come to describing having to play crucible. I despise it so much, it almost cost me 2 friends & my sanity trying to get 30 super kills tonight. (For the record, no I didn't finish. Too much spawn-killing & team-shotting.) This event is not worth it. I did not like crucible in D1 & I still don't like it in D2. I'd rather delete this game from my console than continue playing a broken game mode.

4 Replies30 super kills in this awful PVP is just not worth it. Do I want to get shot by Graviton Lance for several hours to get a set of armor? No. Do I even want to play Destiny 2 anymore? No. This was the final straw for me. PVP needs to be kept separate. Give the PVP players exclusive weapons and armor to reward playing it, but keep it out of my PVE.

Every piece of armor having a PVP and a PVE objective and as long as one is completed the armor is unlocked. Having people shoehorned into a game mode isn't good for anyone. PVP'ers have their teams being watered down by people trudging through their armor objectives, and the PVE'ers have largely avoided the pvp scene. The whole solstice honestly feels like an insult. Not just the pvp shoehorn. But the fact that the whole thing is simply adding another grind. More and more it becomes apparent that Bungie simply doesn't respect our time. And that kills my desire to play. To know that a game you love has so little respect for you and your time is baffling and infuriating. Every event has become angrind fest. The Whisper questline initially gave me hope that they were finding a groove and trying to make rewarding content. Then Solstice comes out and everything has become "LOLZ, grind hard, stay humble."

But I’m only seeing the same regurgitated crap I always see on the forums. “Bungie fix your crap pvp servers, bungie fix the ttk, bungie fix the sbmm, bungie change the weapon slots, Blah blah blah...” Is that the extent of our imaginations? Are those things REALLY what’s keeping you from having fun in the crucible?! Omg if my weapon killed .2 seconds faster, crucible would be fun. If granny-sniper-69 didn’t lag that one match, crucible would instantly be fun. If I didn’t OCCASIONALLY spawn next to an enemy after dying, crucible would magically be fun. No..... Those are weak ass excuses. THE REAL REASON crucible isn’t fun is because it’s 2018, and we are still playing the same game mode we were playing in the early ‘90s. “Clash” “team deathmatch” “slayer” etc.... its all the same crap! Control is clash, supremacy is clash, survival is clash, rumble is clash, EVERY GAME MODE IS CLASH!!!! There is ZERO attempt from this developer to give us ANY type of interesting mechanics in pvp. There is ONE truly objective game mode. And it’s locked behind the competitive playlist. How ridiculous could u be? The one ACTUAL OBJECTIVE GAME MODE and it’s locked behind the SWEAT PLAYLIST? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!?! This game is missing capture the flag, griffball, infected, oddball, king of the hill, big team battle, vehicle battles, prop hunt, etc etc ETC!!! THAT is what’s wrong with destiny pvp. Not the crap you guys are spewing out. Clash is not fun. No amount of tweaking to ttk or servers or weapon loadouts can make a 6v6 match of guys competing to see who’s d**k is bigger can make clash fun. And since every game mode in d2 is clash, there is no hope.

4 RepliesWait in matchmaking for 4 min. Start match. Play for 2.5 min. Get super. Pop super. Get 1 kill. Insta killed by 3 ppl with Graviton Lance b4 I can kill a 2nd. 3.33% progress for roughly 7 min. Rinse repeat. 🖕 Crucible.

For real. Stop padding the PVP number by putting PVP requirements in just about everything. At this point with the way PVP is, it should be just a side note to the rest of the game. It should not be required for any thing.

I really hated having to get super kills in the crucible. It took me far longer than it should've done and took all interest for the game out of me. I wish they just gave us a choice of how to get the rewards. There should always be a choice for both pvpers and pvers. We should be able to play the game as we want. If I was into crucible, I doubt I'd want to waste my time doing the nightfall and heroic strikes. Hell, I'd hate having to do patrols or adventures. Just give us a choice then people can stop whining about each update we get.

Bungie should just revert back to fair starts (Like in halo) and maybe it would be more balanced. That would be a competitive mode that I would actually play since we all have same guns and it would be more of a focus on gun play rather than " HaHa LMAO XDDDDDDDD I HAVE OP WEAPON". The supers are fine just make it so everyone has the same gun and a power weapon at a certain spawn. Worked for halo for quite a while, cant hurt to do it now. They wanted to balance the game but allowed other guns intro crucible. PvE should have random rolls and more variety of weapons to choose from. PvP should be seperate from that and have fixed loadouts and different guns from PvE.

Hell even just “play 5 matches” should be enough. Win 5 matches of this festering -blam!-puke of a gamemode. Does Bungie think forcing us to play this in order to get the armor is going to magically make us love the pukebowl that is crucible? Reasonable people would realize it is going to make us hate it even more. Once I’m done with this fart-sniffing shithole I’m done for good. Never going in crucible again.

Oh we know there are people that only play PVP and also people that only play PVE and we try to take that into account. NO you don't Bungie you continuously force everyone to do both. Easy solution; make the Triumphs (or other objectives) to be able to be completed by one but have both available. For example, the triumph upgrade that requires you to get 25 super kills in the Crucible let it have that and also 125 super kills in Strikes or something like that. But it will still unlock it no matter what one you do but is giving the player the choice of what he/she wants to do and likes doing! Personally I don't care for PVP never have, I will play though just because I want to get the Weapon or Armor that is only available in PVP but is also really good in PVE. Raze Lighter is miss you buddy...

I was just about done with everything with the armor upgrading but making me HAVE to play crucible to upgrade this gear... NO NO NO... I'm so done with this game. I don't like crucible, never have, never will. All it does is put me in a bad mood, to me, it's not fun at all. Played 2 games and only got 10% of what I needed. Do you people really think I'm going to play 18 more crucible games? ARE YOU INSANE? 18 is about how much I've played since D2 dropped. Forget it, forget Forsaken, I wasn't going to get it anyway but now it makes it a lot easier to walk away. So you made all the people who love to grind happy, for me, you've killed the game.

I don't mind playing pvp. I just think the 30-40 super kills is too much. Why can't it be 20?

win one game go on a 5 game losing streak if i'm not matched with good players or put against a stacked team all i want is a decent pvp solo cue experience but NOPE

I agree. This is a pve piece of armor. Crucible is completely awful with the same stupid weapon people are using over and over. Your super means nothing when your taken out in two shots by some crutch everyone likes to use that makes them feel like they have some skill. Pvp can be a part of it but not as large as it is atm. This is more of what is not wanted in future updates and gear sets.

MAX out my rank and everything and shortly after they pulled the servers! Took several years to get that high. Since then I am like, screw this! Cannot stand head to head game play (PVP) anymore. PVE or solo play is what I like to play now days. There is no joy in a constant death screen and respawn cycle several times a minute.
