I'M TIRED OF WAITING ON TAKEN BLIGHTS FOR 3 HOURS!!!
"It's amazing that when Bungo does something interesting, but the wait time is used to pad out the event. Why is it when we fail the mission, I have to wait another hour or so for the event to come back?!?! WORST. EVENT. EVER!"
FYI, [spoiler]You have three people in your fireteam. Separate from each others' butts, scout Io for the event, join up on that person. Three people, three Ios, three chances. I did this with my clan and the very second we fail is the very few minutes we're back in it.[/spoiler]
Bungie, do more of this.

20 RepliesThis may be a joke, but I actually do think it takes too long to spawn and it should be able to be tried whenever people want. It's another form of timegating and making people play bungies way. I want to try it as much a s possible not sit around for 40+ min

I know exactly what you mean. I’ve not only been waiting to help 2 friends get their whisper, but I’ve sat here swearing at the tv after 7 consecutive rounds of cabal publics. This is ridiculous. I’m ok with 3 or 4 at most, but there are 4 locations for publics and the cabal spawn at 1. The taken spawn at 3. The occurrence rate is like 5 to 1 cabal to taken in the last 5 hours. This is the kind of thing that makes me really excited about destiny prior to a new dlc, and then REALLY TURNS ME OFF to it because time gating and ridiculous occurrence weighting isn’t handled respectfully.

Anyone else notice on the Io map that there is a location called "excavation site II"? No wonder, the cabal have a freaking site for their drills to keep coming back! Lol
