Ah, I remember comments like these which caused the D1 nerf cycle, which lead to the atrocious standard of weapons in D2 at launch.
You are bad for this game. You and people like you nearly tanked it. Begone.

Buddy I think you're a little ignorant on how this system works. Would you rather there only be one weapon that is used in crucible since all the other ones are shit in comparison? Criticism is literally one of the most important things in video games so the devs know fix. Do you recall when D1 first came out? It was a shitshow and Bungie needed to be informed of the issues so they can resolve them. Dude haha I mean that's the whole point of betas.

Edited by Bieltan: 7/22/2018 2:54:34 PMI've been gaming for a long time. Lets look at it this way - since Vanilla Destiny and up until the Go Fast update, the power fantasy had been on a steady decline and so had the playerbase. Once Bungie started balancing upwards the daily logins went up as well. PvP needs its own exclusive weaponset so you lot can stop dragging the whole -blam!-ing thing down with you.

Bungie chooses how to fix issues, not us. I agree that PVP needs it's own weapon balance separate from PVE and if you were actually informed you would see that stated by myself in this post. It's not my job to tell the devs how to fix it, that's why it's their job to make the game good. It's our role as consumers to tell them what is good and what is bad and how to fix it. If you don't participate in that then you have no impact on the game and it would never have gotten better. Clearly your "experience" did not teach to very much.
Bungie chooses how to fix issues, not us. Because all I see in the OP is use of the term "Overpowered" which typically insinuates a nerf is needed/desired.
If you don't participate in that then you have no impact on the game and it would never have gotten better. Clearly your "experience" did not teach to very much.
Well the nerf-herding PvP demographic certainly had an impact, and it was almost catastrophic. The game is much healthier now that they listened to the PvE players, and guess what? An unbalanced but alive game > a balanced but dead one.

No not in OP post, and I said that they needed to separate crucible balancing. But if they make a decision like they did, even if it improves PVE but messes up PVP, then they have to listen to our complaints until they realize to separate the balancing. But as of right now Bungie has never mentioned anything about doing such a thing, so we have to live in a world where the balancing is the same in both.
