Edit: looks like a good portion of these are first time kings fall memories. The feeling when oryx explodes and falls back after 6 hours (or 12 hours for me) is unrivaled

3 RepliesFirst hard VOG and getting vex myth first go. Hitting level 32 with crota gear. First time sword bearing Crota (if you could use the sword in crota you were essentially a God and just got invited to everything). Soloing crota. Completing kings fall with my now clan.

Best memory of D1 where I saved my trials team. This was when trials was first out so bud and I are like let’s give it a try? We walk in completely under leveled and have a blueberry as our third. We get absolutely destroyed the first few times we play that day. Later the one game we’re winning we need just one more then we win the game. My team dies then it’s a 3v1. I slide to the bridge stairs are on burning shrine turn around and with my god rolled NM hand cannon six shots were fired for a clutch win. Ahhhhh good times.

Finally got my light high enough to at the least be carried through the Nightfall. Messaged a guy in the Tower that was kind enough to carry me (with his friend). Summoning Pitts, solar burn. They sat in the little room, sniping the boss. I did zero.... We (they) win, screen goes black and comes back to show our rewards. I get this fancy looking exotic rocket launcher I’ve never seen before. The guy who agreed to carry me is laughing historically, while his friend absolutely blows his top LOL! Throws a few bad words my way and leaves. The other guy tells me to “hold on to” it, it’ll come in handy. I had no idea the magnitude of receiving this weapon. I would later find out this was equivalent to finding Wonka’s last golden ticket. I went on to be a pretty serious raider, clocked tons of hours with a lot of note worthy highlights, but that always stuck with me. And probably always will.

My best D1 moment was the first E3 presentation.. "its all playable terrain" "10 years" "your gear and investment will carried over" D1 was never better than the lie they sold us right there.. from then on its just been downhill..

One of my best memories in Destiny 2 was, after over 4 hours of searching for a competent group, being kicked for not having 90+ clears and because of my high-ish voice, I finally found a group, and ran my first Fresh Leviathan run with them. That fireteam was so welcoming, they taught me the mechanics of Leviathan, and what to do. Beating Calus for the first time (after about 5 hours) was AWESOME. Never going to forget that.[spoiler]Looking forward to making new memories in Forsaken.[/spoiler]

Being taken through VOG for the first time and getting fatebringer to drop. From then I loved doing the raids and have done them all apart from Leviathan.

D1 when doing the deathsinger challenge on Crota's End. We were on our 10th or 100th try, I only remember being there for hours. We were in the middle of a sloppy run. One of us had already gone down and we were slow clearing out the nights up top. Somehow, we were able to kill our wizards and make it inside and take out the shriekers. We felt like the run was lost when the song started as we picked up the sword, but our Hunter running the sword went for it anyway and managed to ground slam that bitch as we all wiped and it still gave us the kill.

1 ReplyD1 clutching several trials games as last man standing. Usually with a snipe/ shotty kill, a grenade/melee kill, primary kill, and super/sniper kill on the self res warlock. I bet I can find some clips from d1 of me doing this. Go to xboxdvr or Xbox clips look up my gamer tag and find any videos that have more than 20 views those are usually my best clips.
