If you like to brag, this is the place to do it
Edit: 16 replies and trending.... 🤔
Edit: looks like a good portion of these are first time kings fall memories. The feeling when oryx explodes and falls back after 6 hours (or 12 hours for me) is unrivaled
Edit: Just woke up to 116 notifications lol

When my Vex Mythoclast dropped in Y1
-
Almost forgot this moment from D2. Doing the strike with that anoying psyion(cant remember his name). I was last man standing. He rushed me, I jumped, Perfect paradox in hand and hip fired him right in the face as he took me out. I was so shocked not to see "the darkness hass consumed you"
-
The fact I still have b line trauma in D1 and still use it on occasion when I play
-
Soloing crota for my AFK teammates because I got bored That time I booted someone from prestige Leviathan run because they kept playing music
-
Soloing Oryx

D1: First time ever 2 man the beginning part of crota. Wasn't at max light yet and trying to grind it to reach it. Helping 4 players get their first ever Crota completion. Remember where Ghorn dropped for me. Crota at death singers. D2: ............ nothing. And that includes the endgame of friendship.

Getting movie of the week for worlds fastest we ran out of medals
-
D1: -TTK Hammer of Sol pre-nerf -AoL Defender with Chaperone -Grinding and getting TLW so I could get the Chaperone -My first raid ever(crota) -Booting up the game for the first time and being amazed D2: -Prometheus Lens laser tag(before Xur sold it) -Cayde's death reveal -Forsaken reveal stream -Getting my catalyst for crimson
-
D1 was probably my clans 4 man oryx challenge kill. It was chaos and when all 16 went off at once and he just dropped it was so satisfying. D2 watching the cayde death reveal.

Me and my friends enjoy raiding so thats always a good experience. Last week i taught 2 of my friends spire of stars and we didnt wipe a single time on ANY encounter, including the boss while they were learning it! That was pretty awsome, coming from lfg squads who take a few tries even when experienced.

Edited by HaouRyuk: 6/27/2018 2:10:52 PMMy friend and I stupidly going for all 3 swords in D1 at the exact same time, fighting 4 bosses, that you can't you kill without proper timing, while being chased by two enemies with swords that nearly 1 hit kill, in room full of cursed thrall while two other bosses try to shoot you out of the air all in a small room in which you can't really see a damn thing.. slowly working down the health of all 4 bosses (which only makes them move faster AND without killing any of them either as it would have ruined the quest) trying to not die in the various possible ways and eventually killing all bosses at the same time completing the last requirement for all 3 swords. (with only 2 people on the first attempt) That was the most frantic, chaotic FUN moment I ever had, it was pure madness and I loved it, I still think that was the hardest challenge we ever did in Destiny...everything was easy after that lol.

1 ReplyD1 = First kings fall completion. D2 = nothing comes to mind

Beating oryx in the raid D1 while not knowing what the -blam!- I was doing. I just shot shit and ran in an orb😂

1 ReplySoloing my first nightfall using blue weapons trying to complete the pocket infinity quest.

5 RepliesEdited by ││█║▌│: 6/27/2018 9:53:37 AMMy best moment in Destiny 1 will always be the time I thought I was a Striker Titan and bubbled on top of 4 players. I couldn't stop laughing. Nothing in Destiny 2 qualifies against the moments I had in Destiny 1.

D1: Soloing the Light level 30 "The Abomination Heist" strike (Quest Strikes are harder than normal) at Lv.28 for Thorn! (Because this HC was SOOOO hated, not even my friends wanted to help me get it) Main: Abyss Defiant (Solar) Special: Murmer (Arc) Heavy: GJALLARHORN (Solar) Took me over an hour, but after it was done, I immediately went into PvP and proceeded to 2 tap every one!

1 ReplyBeating Oryx on Hard by the skin of my teeth. The reason I played Destiny to begin with, honestly—Making legendary moments. I don’t need a bunch of weapons or armor pieces. Give me those moments. Give me a standard assault rifle and point me towards the next challenge. That’s all I want.

D1 my first seventh column D2 the first time I ever used poledancer, I don’t know why but I loved that class right away, it’s the reason I converted from a warlock to a hunter

Remember the kinght platforms in KF raid? Everytime we took a rookie to that area we told him to jump in that area to get a hidden fragment. always worked and we all laughed when ppl tried again and again.... We eventually told had a 'candid camera' moment after that. Also, for WOTM raid, me and friends said we need people who can answer our quiz and asked simple math question to joiners (what square root of 49) and so many people failed it that we just laughed to death that day.

When D1 was good.

Solo'ing Crota The time we beat Aethon and it was just me and the relic holder and i black hammered him to death 1st time flawless nothing really in d2, the game is super easy and raid mechanics don't allow you to clutch anymore.

3 RepliesVoG. No clue as to what I was doing at the time. Didn't even really know what a Raid was! A very kind group carried me through and pulled crap on me several times. The one that earned us a wipe was when I was told that the big bubble would protect us and deal a LOT of damage. My job was simply to wait for the bubble, get right in the middle. Fire rocket at the big guy. I think a couple of them were crying from the laughter when I actually did it. Other than that, more memorable D1 moments than I could list. D2? First lvl 7 EP completion. A few other good moments, but that one has to top the list at the moment. The only other moment that could compare would be when firing up D2 on my main account the first time and going through those memories. I had goosebumps through most of it. The feels were quite real. :)

1 ReplyD1 - Gally drop on my first Crota run, and I didn't know WTH a Gally was. D2 - 1A) Probably deleting shaders. There isn't anything that can match the pure joy of deleting 118 individual Blue Geometry shaders, it's kind of a grind but once you get into a groove I truly feel unstoppable. 1B) Obtaining 1 token from killing a High Valued Target, it's kind of like finding a Golden Ticket in a candy bar only different.
