Edit: looks like a good portion of these are first time kings fall memories. The feeling when oryx explodes and falls back after 6 hours (or 12 hours for me) is unrivaled

Showing the lamp trick in crota to others. Nothing for d2 but watching my friends disappear on list.

Daughters in King's Fall. We had the last daughter down to a sliver and we got wiped. I was the only warlock so I self-revived and killed her. Easily one of my favorite D1 moments.

When I switched from Xbox to PC. That was better than any achievement that I had done in game. Lol.

D1: I managed to finish Atheon off when i was the last Guardian standing. and that was due to me getting out just in time after a oracle set. Another D1 was It was the start of match I threw a lightning nade a cross the map after getting out the right side of TG map and got a double kill and first strike.

My first ever collateral was in D1. The guys were tethered and I shot them with a 1000 Yard Stare. (I was Titan) Lol I remember trying to figure out what had just happened!

Those last stand moments in Hard Raids where your fireteam slowly gets picked off but the remaining Guardians still finish it. I miss those Heroic moments.

When the last download came out. Me and a friend were 2 manning the nf. Got to the end and both dropped gjallahorns. He was well happy as it was his first one!!. Struggle seeing one drop. But 2 at the same time!!!!!

2 RepliesI have another one actually. Doing the Sunless Cell strike for the exotic swords. Killing all three of the knights and Alak-Hul within thirty seconds to finish that step of the quest. Then realizing that two of us didn't have the quest step so we had to do it again. Good times, great times.

My best D1 moments were raiding alongside my brother with different people every time. I was ecstatic the first time I beat VoG, and I got the Vex Mythoclast after my first run. There were so many cool and unique people I met through those experiences. Unfortunately, I don’t see most of them around the Destiny community anymore—but I honestly can’t blame them.

My best PvE moment has to be from one of my first Vault of Glass hardmode runs. We were on Atheon, and me and my buddies had that SOB down to a sliver. Crap glitched, and all of us got blown to hell. I was on my Sunsinger, so I immediately popped my Radiance, jumped in the air, Angel of Light held me in place, and fired off my last two Gjallarhorn shots. Both were direct impacts, and killed him. My friends were going nuts over the mic, and I became one of the first in my group to get the Mythoclast. Good times. As Destiny changed I got more and more into crucible, and in our old clan I was the resident PVP badass. Not to say I was amazing, but out of my group I was the best. The last Iron Banner of D1, my whole clan jumped on at different points throughout the night to play together one more time. We cycled through over a dozen of us, but we usually had at least a four stack. One of the last games, I was using my trusty Suros Regime, my Found Verdict, and my Zombie Apocalypse on my Voidwalker with Blink. I had a 29 killstreak on Pantheon and went unbroken. Once again, my buddies were going crazy. When it popped up on the bottom of the killfeed that “Someone should really do something about Th3GrandAdmiral,” my brothers and buddies lost their shit laughing. It helped that it was from a four piece off a Shatter/Bloom/Annihilate Nova Bomb. I miss Destiny 1 quite a bit at times. Hoping September brings the awesomeness, along with my old buddies, back to the game.

Being scared shitless going beneath the cosmodrome for the first time, low level, complete darkness minus the light from my ghost, surrounded by hive infestations all over the wall, and the sounds of a thrall wave around the corner... Raid completions, raid challenge emblem, flawless raider trophy. Exotic swords, and the encounters that made them useful. Medals...particularly the ones you got for wiping multiple players in a short succession, breaker, reapers, etc. phantoms, we ran out of medals, etc... [spoiler]just D1 in general...[/spoiler]

My friends and I had finally completed Skolas for the first time and we all jumped down into the treasury. The 30 seconds began before departure, me being me I said "Hold up, I'm gonna throw my scatter nade at it for good luck!". The scatter nade doesn't explode on contact, it glitches and like a bouncy ball flies right back at me. I get killed by my own grenade. I can't respawn and the timer ends right as I do. I missed my first ever Skolas rewards.

killing Oryx on lastgen it took my fireteam 4 blamming hours because we had one person that kept messing up lol or the time i oneshot Atheon and got vision of confluenece pretty sure i broke VOG that day
