Hey! I was just wondering what everybody thought of the new warmind comic series. I personally really enjoyed it and am very glad it explained mostly how Ana was still miraculously alive in warmind. I linked the first issue and invite everyone to read so I can see what the community thinks of it.

AssBat - The COO was a hot mess of stupidity, an inability or sheer laziness to even read anything about who & what they are writing about and less than zero writing talent. I have seen Swiss cheese with less holes and they were big enough to drive a Star Destroyer thru. The Warmind comic was slightly less so, but still had more than it's share. Still, it was an improvement of sorts, but it doesn't really explain alit of things very well.

1 ReplyI actually really liked the Osiris issues. It was interesting to see some politics, the relationship between Osiris, Ikora and The Speaker, and ofcourse the unintentional making of a cult. Two issues about this is enough though so I really hope they get into the epic stuff like the simulation, Rasputin and The Traveler. I didn't like the romance story though because I want to read about space magic! Also- love?! Kissing and stuff. Eww. That's how you get space herpes.

I haven't read them, ASSBAD...nor do I care to. There's enough LGBT and other political agenda crap on TV, the internet, FB, Twitter, pretty much everywhere. But Destiny was designed to be a safe space. Biased game is biased.

2 RepliesI think I’d like to read it all but can’t find the 1st 2 issues.

1 ReplyUnless her being lesbian has an actual impact (my apologies if I missed something), I think it's just forced at the moment. If they do more with it to make her character better or if it has a better impact on her past however, then I'll be all for it. By the way, do all Cabal happen to know English and will we ever get a translator for whatever language they speak?
-
Other than explaining why she was thought dead, it was just cringey. You didn’t need to read past that point.

3 RepliesEdited by Vomiting_Wolf: 6/24/2018 12:54:52 AMPretty much this.

It's unnecessary.

Where are the x-ray vision glasses? Legit comics sell x-ray vision glasses and those monkey dragon things.
-
Bad, barely any lore.

-blam!-ing awful

1 ReplyThe sequence and release of the comics was pretty off IMHO. Warmind has been out for a month and a bit and in that time the forums have been going about how Ana was supposedly killed in the twilight gap. This comic seems like it was released as a reaction towards it. You take away the romance part and you have barely any story in it. This comic is 2 thumbs down for me.

4 RepliesHer pretending to die like that in the middle of a battle was pretty shitty of her. She's a bit of an asshole.
-
Appallingly tripe-like.
-
1 ReplyI don't understand how Ana can be so hot in game yet merely meh in the comix. Yeah, that's all I got. :/
-
1 Reply"Giggle giggle giggle 13 year old giggle SPACE LESBIANS YAY!!!!!!! giggle giggle"
-
1 ReplyCan they just stop with those dumb comics disjointed from the game making lore more and more senseless and dumb?
-
Thanks

Edited by Swiftlock: 6/24/2018 8:17:15 PMA proper tie-in comic does a lot to flesh out and strengthen the lore of a video game's universe while bridging significant story-related gaps and making everything relevant. A good example would be the Mass Effect comics that show what major characters were doing between games (and then acknowledging those matters in the games themselves), or explaining major plot points such as how Commander Shepard wound up...
in the hands of Cerberus after he/she dies at the start of ME2.
A bad example? Destiny 2's comics. There are SO many mysteries and so much lore to unravel, but instead the focus is on a romance that doesn't do much for the story. And then let's not forget the Osiris comics that just blatantly disregard the in-game lore of D2.

Garbage

2 RepliesSJW'D when it was not needed. Dull. It read like a child's storybook.
-
3 RepliesSjw nonsense Cringefest

1 ReplyRead it and it was like wtf? This story was so forced into making the content relevant. Then the lesbian ending? I know bungie is trying to be rainbows but that’s kinda of bad script. It’s like. Here is how she’s alive and by the way, she a lesbian.
-
4 RepliesLame, contrived, childish...… with a dash of SJW. Surprised Bungie has not made a play to charge for them yet.
-
6 RepliesDid they try to shove their liberal propaganda down our throats again?
-
I don’t like LGBTQ propaganda and bungie keeps giving us that, propaganda. Damn SjW’s
