Resist the hype, remember the history.
Experience should have made you all resistant to hype from Bungie. Remember the lies? Take a "we'll believe it when we see it" attitude and you will pretty much save yourself from further disappointment.

Yeah -blam!- you did yo watch it? Even if they deliver on half that the game is better. New mode, biggest raid ever changing constantly, all new subclasses not just one element, new weapon system with random rolls, bows, etc. and I only watched half the stream so far. Not even. I'm hype and buying it

I've appreciated all DLCs. Some are WAY better than others. Over the years of D1 and D2, I've been fine with all content. Then again... I have lifelong friends and other online folks to play with so there's that too... people I can play just about any game with and have a good time talking and just messing around. This video looks like it will contain some fun content. I'm sure there will be some problems (As with most DLCs) or something won't work or go as promised... but eh... it's whatever. I'll still pick it up day 1 and pre-order it as I'm going to get it anyway. If it comes out and I enjoy it then I'll enjoy it... otherwise I'll play one of the one million other single/multi player games I have across my consoles.

I understand keeping a level head so you do not over reach but there are plenty of us who were excited even before the livestream. I was already 100% confident I would pre-order the highest version I could and now I just want to do it faster. But to each their own really, let people decide for themselves.

I believe it. If they misled us during this reveal it will be the death of the game, no doubt. They came big with this and they know if they do not deliver they better run for the hills. I have to buy in, unless those were actors, you have a lot of devs on there that seem genuinely pumped. I will pre-order, dammit, said I would not, but they sold me on it. If they deliver what they revealed, the game is back and it will be awesome once again.
