Braytech Weapons
Sorry if this has been asked/answered before, but in my searches I’m only seeing anecdotal answers - “I got it from nodes,” “I got of from packages from Ana...”
So I have only been able to acquire two BT weapons so far. Niflheimer Ding-Dong Scout and the Ex-wife sniper, aka Frigid Jackal. Really want the auto and the sidearm. In my research I see a lot of screen shots previewing Ana’s weapons and it shows a full row of the weapons with those I mentioned included as available drops. Not for my characters though. My main character is the only one I have completed all post campaign quests and adventures but even on that guy she only previews 6 faction weapons and none of those are even Braytech, just the warmind re-skins.
Am I missing something?
I’m currently at 29/40 sleeper nodes thanks to the repeat bizness.

I have three from sleeper schematics. Thinking that grinding those is best. Every 10-20 I seem to get a schematic.

Edited by Sprouted Quinoa: 6/5/2018 2:42:45 AMI got the auto and scout as quest rewards on different characters, I got the RL from the nightfall, I got the sidearm from a schematic (sleeper node, pretty sure it was rando not a fixed one). I don't have the sniper yet. Edit: also got two of the ships and sparrows from sleeper nodes as well.

That Auto Rifle is basically my favorite line: "The perfect spread of cream cheese on a just-out-of-the-oven Asiago Bagel." Same with Null Calamity 9. Using both feels damn great.

I have all 5 Braytech weapons, the only ones I kept are the launcher and the scout.

Edited by D-lyfe: 6/3/2018 5:00:43 AMThey only drop from sleeper nodes, u get one roughly every 20-25 nodes u open, also opening duplicate nodes has no effect on u getting the bray tech drop they will still drop, I managed to get all 5 weapons but I did open over 400+ nodes to get 40/40

i scrapped the scout and i have the auto rifle i dont really care for it

3 RepliesThe winter/braytech weapons ONLY come from weapon schematics, which are found in sleeper nodes. The drops are RNG.

You are doing it right, you are just getting duplicates. I had the same issue ( having the scout drop exclusively). You have to keep opening the sleeper nodes until you open one that drops a weapon schematic. That is the item that will give you the chance to get the auto and sidearm you desire from Ana Bray. FYI the braytech rocket launcher is a nightfall exclusive reward tied to the Nokris strike. Good luck!

5 RepliesThe Braytech auto rifle is the closest version we currently have resembling Destiny 1 auto rifles. Even the firing sound and recoil remind me of the originals.

1 Replyi take it recent acrimonious divorce. sympathy. but... it would be nice to be able to modify a blue, turn it to a legendary through some process and then into a unique exotic with a unique set of perks and stats that you created... and the game names it after you. Wayland's Riposte: probably an autorifle, maybe a rocket launcher. if rifle, has range like Kibou, magazine size of 40, looks like origin story, kills can cause elemental explosions that release swarm of tracking grenades (like the hunter swarm grenade). it would create that rifle for energy because my hunter solar and uses Kibou in that slot, my titan is also solar and uses origin story kinetic, and my hunter has swarm grenades. if it was the rocket launcher it would be called Endless Barrage, and resets the hunters dodge (infinite dodge to reload but not invisible dodge) and is tracking, and kills will refill reserves by one. they would probably have to be individual only - ie account bound. BUT there might be a bungie vote on picking one to become a normal exotic which other players need to duplicate the steps to earn. they could do that each dlc, pick a player unique to become a destiny wide exotic.

You should do the nascent dawn quest on your alts as I believe completing step one earns you a schematic drop. Its how I got my winter wolf after farming nodes for days on my main.

6 RepliesIn order to get 4 of the 5 Braytech weapons(Winter Wolf, Niflheim Frost, 18 Kelvins, and Frigid Jackal) you need to combine 4 Resonant Stems to make a Frequency thingy. Then take the Frequency thingy to the corresponding Sleeper Node. That Sleeper Node will have a [b]chance[/b] to produce a Braytech Schematic which can drop one of those weapons. The end The last weapon(Braytech Osprey) is the unique weapon drop for the Strange Terrain Nightfall Strike against Nokris. Higher scores offer a higher drop chance, but some people prefer to do many speed runs in a shorter time with a lower score. The end Braytech weapons, woo!
