You're missing the point of what a nerf is, its the taking away or reduction of abilities.
So what if mindless dweebs want to spam a weapon that does the thinking for them. That's their choice. But what they think is an advantage is actually a disadvantage. All you gotta do is just be 10% smarter than the single minded robots with short life spans. It's not difficult, it just takes patience and practice.

I’m sure you think that joke is funny... it isn’t. Just because you think you can outsmart them doesn’t mean you can, mostly because I find it hard to believe you’ve never been hit by a stray mine from someone 30ft away that climbed up a wall to hit you, or waited for you to land before blowing up. And in canes you think you can outlast the thing by standing in the air, you’re forgetting about being a literal sitting duck when you try to avoid it. So yeah, maybe someone whose a complete MLG that has time to play this game 15 hour a day can pull that off consistently. Too bad most of the player base isn’t in that top 15%. Now, I’m going to be fair and say that I have been seeing less of this gun ever since the exotic update, yet getting killed by the Colony still feels cheap compared to almost every other weapon, and that includes cluster bomb rockets. The big thing that agitated me about your posts is that I’m trying to define a clear distinction between a weapon junking nerf and a much needed tweak, but you keep trying to shove me into the same category as the people that caused the Thorn nerf back in D1 (while it was too powerful and easily a usable, they went a little too far with the damage reduction on it). I’m not yelling “NERF THIS! NERF THIS!”, I’m trying to identify something that feels like a problem and suggest a minor change that would make it fair to fight against. So sorry if all my replies come if as salty here, but you are just pushing the wrong buttons without realizing it.
