Stand up and let your voice be heard (even though Bungie doesn't care)
What's your thoughts?
-
I agree and on pc it’s crazy.
-
I agree cuz it gets really annoying pvp with those ppl
-
Sad part is they still get fucced up even with their cheap shite
-
1 ReplyYou have any evidence? Oh wait, you'll get banned for providing evidence, silly me.
-
I think console makers should perma ban anyone that's ever caught cheating on any game, just ban the entire console or ip address. I also don't think m&k should be allowed on consoles at all, if you want to use them go play on pc.

3 RepliesLag is an unavoidable sideeffect of p2p comnections, and you can aid your gameplay by learning to play bumper jumper. Moddes controllers are better, but that's the point of them. If someone pays 80 bucks to allow for more button imputs then I'm not going to be mad. Just admire their commitments. However, macro users and people that ise scripts and other means of directly 'tinkering' with the game (otherwise known as cheating) should have some kind of penalty placed on them. 12 RepliesAlso people with six fingers. That's just not fair. There I said it.

While I heavily agree with the need to crackdown on modded controllers, I feel like it’ll be much harder for Bungdingledoo-dinglelee to enforce actions on who the laggers might dingle-be. I mean, they have worked with an obviously flawed system that they cannot just simply replace without throwing the whole game out the window and starting from scratch. Servers, coding, the infrastructure. You jump into a Supremacy match on Quickplay where you are connected to players who might be on the other side of US Coast, over in the UK and down in Brazil and you’ll see bad connections across the board, however, jump into a game like Titanfall where their servers are crisp and the fps experience is so dynamic that it’s like night and day. Matchmaking connection issues will always be a hassle we’ll have to deal with in Destiny because it’s become near synonymous with the game.

1 ReplyHonestly latency and rapport is crap right now. You may think you’re getting one bursted by a graviton/vigilance but in reality the game isn’t giving you feedback to the 2nd burst. I’ve noticed it a lot recently.
-
What do you mean modded controllers? That is a bit of a too broad of a statement. According to that I should be banned for having a scuff even though I don't use the paddles and just want a more comfortable controller.
-
6 RepliesLag and modded controllers are elementary: ddos is the disease festering online cheating. Last week, I was ddossed 4 times in quickplay.
-
2 RepliesEdited by YATM: 5/19/2018 3:58:30 PMYesterday I got Ddos'd in comp and faced a team that was obviously using cronus max. It's annoying, but cheating will always be an issue. Blame Playstation and Xbox as well. A firmware update targeting unauthorized peripherals could go a long way to fixing this as well. As for scuf, battle beaver, and razer raiju anyone can buy them and all they do is provide triggers that are easier to access than face buttons. The hair trigger locks don't work in Destiny. These controllers are not the problem. The razer raiju is licensed by Playstation and is about $150 on Amazon.

It’s more likely people are using keyboard and mouse on console. Aim assist plus precision of a mouse is unstoppable. Nothing except a better player with the same equipment can beat it.
-
Bungie never bans anybody because it’d hurt their playerbase too much lul
-
Banned for life? Lmao
-
1 ReplyAre mod controllers illegal?
-
Not happening
-
But who would play trials ?
-
To quote that one sentry bot in Portal, “Indifferent.”
-
Yeah it should be any form of cheating or taking advantage of hardware to have a better edge over others is in my books against fair gameplay

17 RepliesEdited by Sereph102889: 5/18/2018 2:22:27 PMLol WHAT? I use a Scuf controller just because I wanted the paddles to be able to bind them to different buttons. It doesn't give you aimbot or rapid fire or anything that could be considered a hack or exploit. For example, I have my left paddle bound to "jump" so that I can jump and turn the camera at the same time. Before my Scuf when I jumped my right hand had to come off the aim stick but now it doesn't. But that's a preference thing, some people just move their hands to be able to do this without paddles. In all my time playing Destiny I have never assumed someone killed me because of a "modded controller"..... LOL! What exactly do you mean by modded controller? Perhaps I'm missing something.

1 ReplyYou can't ban people for modded controllers cause some people need them due to disabilities

2 RepliesYeah I decided to give PvP another chance. Was killed by a full auto gravition lance a few times. It has a distinct sound when it shoots and it was shooting about 3 times faster than it should.
