I'm looking forward to it. It won't fix several issues with the game but they have shown enough to convince me that they are heading in the right direction. The September update is when the game will be getting the big swing of changes & if we are to believe those that attended the summit. a vast majority of those changes are going to be good ones. So I am remaining positive about the game going forward. Probably one of the few day one players that is but it should be noted that a lot of the negative comments about the game in this thread are not from day one players lol. Most haven't even played the game much xD.

It will just be another boring dlc to rip through and I have no desire to grind the new "Protocol" or raid lair for useless gear. Only positives in this- I will be done with everything before summer arrives and I can't wait to unload on the thousands of tokens and gunsmith mats that I have! I truly hope this is the last update for this trainwreck that is D2.

Sadly, no. I stayed true to the franchise even after all my clan mates left D1 around TTK expansion. D2 finally killed it for me. Paid for both expansions when I preordered D2, never ever doing that again. I logged in to look at D2 after CoO dropped, but couldn’t muster the effort to play any of it. Watching and reading reviews of gameplay tells me I made the right decision. And they turned the lore into a farce with their whole handling of the story arc in D2 which is a true shame because all the great lore videos were what I turned to during the content droughts of D1. I check in here occasionally but have pretty much given up all hope at this point. This has to be one the most painful and slow deaths of any video game franchise in recent years.

Haven't played d2 since the dawning in December.. logged on today because I'm thinking about buying both expansions and honestly I had a blast playing 6v6 iron banner.. honestly think I'll buy both expansions now. I really enjoyed the fast paced hectic gameplay and how high the skill ceiling is. Really don't people appreciate high agility builds and how valuable verticality is. I played on max mobility and felt like I was truely outplaying people and each kill felt rewarding. I'm actually pretty excited to move forward in this game in the pve aspects now as well. Pretty excited

I went and did a night fall for the first time in months and it was the first time I melee a thrall with a Titan and it took to hits. It was the most depressing filling I have had in a long time. I don't know where the go fast update is but it sure ain't in pve.

Yes actually. I am looking forward to more story on Rasputin and the Bray family. I'm a Lore junkie, as I love listening to lore videos from Byf and the other lore based Destiny content creators.

I certainly am!! I have been thoroughly enjoying the game since the “Go Fast” update. Iron banner has been awesome as well. Not to mention the fact that the new challenge cards for night falls make it really fun. Now we’re getting Warmind tomorrow. It’s a great time to be a Destiny fan. 👊

Public event looks fun, new exotic sword looks fun, and the D1 returning exotics have me excited. Oh no, I love content I got 2 years ago! I guess I’m a stupid, simple-minded kid, which is obviously Bungie’s target audience!

I leapt into D2 with reckless abandon but I essentially quit out in January of this year when most of my crew abandoned it. I play this as much for the social aspects as the game itself but even I had a hard time defending it. I really hope this dlc is good, I’d say at least better than Osiris but that’s a low low bar. Let’s at least hit Crota level fun bungie!!

I mean I'll play it, but I can honestly say, this is the least excited I've ever been for new content in Destiny since Alpha of D1 days :( Too little too late. Game is dead. I'm not even sure there will be enough people running the new raid lair this time around, so I pray my previous group (who we already had to put together like inception because everyone in the groups other previous groups quit the game) come back for this..

I was more excited for ROI, but still excited. There is mindless grinding to be done again. I finally hit max light about three weeks ago, so I've not had a whole lot to do. With escalation protocol, there will be something to do for about 2 months.
