  • Off topic, but could you please add a quest menu so that quests don't take up space In your weapon inventory and add an abandoned quests kiosk in the tower? I accidentally deleted the rat king quest due to a rush in clearing out my inventory and with my other two characters I deleted it with the assumption that we had an abandoned quest kiosk like we did in d1. I did all this during the early stages of d2 and BOI!!!!...............I effed the eff up. Sigh..

  • As a primary solo player that can barely (if at all) get into a raid group does this mean I won’t be able to hit the hard cap? And also is the hard cap actually going to mean something in regards to DPS, health or other stats?

      Exotics should be harder to get. There should be strike specific loot in the strike play list. Not just nightfall. There should be armor and weapons and ghost in strike playlist. Y'all should get Sarah Daniels my number. You shouldn't get raid or trials gear from clan engrams if you didn't do the raid or trials. I'm tired of reskins. 6v6 should be crucible all the time. Y'all should give KK my number. I am tired of eververse selling all the dope cosmetic stuff. I want secret exotic or even legendary quests like d1 and saint 14 shotgun. I want specials back in the energy slot. I want a lower time to kill for primaries so specials don't dominate again. Make exotics exotics again. And finally, fill the world with life. Not just enemies standing there to be killed. Like have players do certain steps to trigger events. And make mods better.

        • Mini changes aren't fixing the public backstab you shanked your fanbase with. You really wrecked way too much of what was good with this underpinnings microtransactions crap and oversimplification garbage. You guys lost trust with the public, which is priceless, and squandered your inheritance for short term gain. It's a long road back, but I don't think this new generation of entitled Bungie staffers have the grit. My 2 cents.

              • nothing bad about making end game content the only way to hit max light but when your end game content is boring and or broken then there is a problem. not a fan of either raid. just my opinion. seems like the only people left playing trials are cheater, account recoveries, and paid carries.

                • I only play PvP and only alone. In D1 I had Iron Banner that allowed me to reach max light. In D2 ? Good thing that light has no meaning in PvP anymore.

                • I just have to say that it seems you guys don’t understand anything other then extremes. I’ve been playing since the beginning and I am seriously considering quitting if these changes are implemented. I don’t want to go back to the destiny 1 cap grinding. There really is a middle ground here that can allow people who can’t get into end game activities, or just don’t want to, the ability to level up just the same through all other activities. Give them a path, if you want to make a little bit harder that’s fine just, don’t make it a lot harder.

                  • I really want to experience those Rat King changes for myself cause I was not expecting what I got from that video. Also I definitely think that the power level restructure is a very good move and hopefully it gets more people to become dedicated to the game.

How ‘bout having him come back because: a. He gets a freakin paycheck every month; b. Your playerbase has evaporated and he needs to come up with reasons to play; c.                             The power changes feel artificial and unnecessary: 1- you are basically saying to casuals: if you make it to max light by the time next content comes out you are lucky... 2. The problem this creates is again an increase in the gab between ‘intense raiders’ and occasional ones, leading to more elitists posts and restricted raid player pool: - a player who can’t train properly for the raid will be left behind - an intensive raiser will first want to get some completions before helping less exp players, and that may take longer because of the smaller raid pool. 3. The problem is once again not the power leveling, but the use of it: why be max light if being ten below kind of feels the same? 4. If best gear comes from end game activity and those needs high light to be ‘comfy’, while high light is harder to get at... it will also increase problem mentioned in pt2: occasional raiders won’t have a nice experience of the raid. It needs to be hard but not feel hopeless... 5. There’s a reason people keep on asking for random rolls: it increases the interest of end game where drops are guaranteed without artificially increasing the grind and taking the fun out of it: you always get something, and there’s always a chance to get something better. 6. Forgot one: this change impacts Solely PVE gameplay , while pvp where power levels don’t give any advantage is not impacted... Why keep on punishing Pve? Edit: it has been pointed out I may have been to negative regarding when a more casual may hit the soft cap: if the balance is right things might not be as bad as described above, but this is a very slippery and risky balance...

                            • Thanks for ruining exotic grinding. I hate raiding since I always get a headache cause no one knows how to shit the f up and play. Also I dont play trials of the 9 why? The gameplay sucks. Don't take away Exotic grinding or you will lose your player base. Wtf is wrong with you guys? Ypu are forgrtting about solo players who don't join fireteams. I am one. Why? I hate listening to people whine and bitch cause I get a headache from it. So make it so us solo players can grind the way we need to. By grinding for exotics. Thanks. If need be I will go through the trouble of even having my expansion pass refunded to me by sony if I am not happy. Have to offer refunds in Canada. Consumer policy here and part of the law.

                              • Am I reading this correctly. The progression for solo players just got real and pretty much impossible, unless you burden yourself with that shite LFG? Also it looks like the progression has been gated? For what? Cosmetics! Unless the loot is sweet there is no point. Just as importantly will D2 be fun now? If not, its a non starter for me anyway. Bungie, you really do struggle understanding a lot of us. I feel like we are banging our heads at your door and no one is letting us in...........
