Exotic Weapon Preview: Graviton Lance

A COMMON JOURNEY INTO LEGEND A New weapon progress system needs to be introduced this will allow Exotics to flourish. A Simple Gear Progression System. - Fixed Drop Gear - Unlock & Upgrade Nodes - Do Gear Bounties & Challenges - Evolve Gear Common-Legendary - Upto 3 Perk Mods Per Item* *Common 1/Rare 2/Legendary 3 All Weapons & Armour should have a viable pathway of progression from a Common all the way up to a Legendary. As you progress each item doing Bounties & Challenges you should be able to Evolve Gear from Common to Legendary. This could unlock more Mod Slots, players then Mix & Match Mods to change Perks and alter gear performance. Just because Gear has fixed base stat drops doesn't mean it can't be desired and it shouldn't mean it can't be customised. If you allow for customisation and player control to define an item and shape it to suit whatever the player wants, it will create a natural grind for the Mods that allows us to configure that Weapon or Armour. Let players create the God Roll gear using Weapon & Armour Mods. This will balance out if you have a structured Mod System in place that is tuned for each Gear archatype. If we have complete choice out of the entire lootpool of Common & Legendary Gear. With the emphasis on us creating custom loadouts, Bungie can then focus on Exotics that are Unique, Powerfull and Desirable, ones that change how we play and work in harmony with our Subclass Abilities. A TRUE LIFE EXOTIC

Nice, but for future videos, please show the weapon solo. For everyone calling conspiracy, use the slo-mo setting for youtube. Slow it to x.25 and you will see that graviton did almost all the work for wave one. The arc weapon came late and killed the captain. Second wave, someone fired something and you can see a vandal take a hit on the right, but it didn't die. Graviton cleared the mobs except for one vandal who gets shot from off screen.

Edited by bvirus: 4/18/2018 9:52:40 AMthat looks freaking sweet... gonna dust of my GL with season 3 :) EDIT : I see alot of feedback about the shots off camera, It would be beter if he would shoot alone on the dregs but you can clearly see that 1 kill will make mini seekers that would look for a target similar to the outbreak primal.

Looks great! Best looking and sounding weapon in the game. Shame it hasn't been a viable option until the next dlc release. The colony is probably the most exotic, exotic weapon currently.

Looks like a good weapon for Public Events and Raid add control, but I’m a PvP guy and I’d like to see how it stacks up against the likes of MIDA or the Vigilance Wing.

This is really positive that we are getting sneak previews of current changes. However the quality must be better. You can't leave the video open to so much scrutiny as you have. Still very excited to try out my Lance come the changes though. Have a feeling its going to be a PvE monster.

2 RepliesWhat's with all this complaining about the other weapons being used in the video. First, a little mystery want kill you. Second, it's pretty easy to see the capability of Graviton Lance. We got a tease. Do you not feel teased? Chin-up guardians.

Also the TTK in the crucible must be super fast with a 2 shot burst. Unless the you nerfed the precision damage it's gonna be a beast.

Can melee and grenade damage please be buffed? Along with ttk on primaries. I wanna like this but, ttk on everything is to slow.

Ok this looks freakin awesome... Graviton lance is 1 of my favorite exotics and this makes it so much better But i doubt it will be good in PvP
