They fired Marty O’Donnell.
They fired Peter Dinklage.
They let Luke Smith take control.
The garbage Bungie market today is the pretty much the result of the above.

Music Man Marty 😭

They fired DESTINY 1 PLAYERS. Literally fired everyone who actually played their game.

They community put the blame on Dinklage for having to say stupid sentences without meaning. Even the best actor can't give meaning to throw away lines. He also became to expensive for Bungie, who love profit above everything else.

Edited by Orbital Drop Shock Trooper: 2/9/2018 6:00:07 AMTBF peter dink was a bit out of place being a VA in the Destiny roster anyways, I mean who TF thought that was a good idea long term when PD was neck deep in GoTs. That was a short term decision being made and just shows you how extravaganza headed Bungie's thought process was back then [and to a lesser extent now]

What? People actually missed Peter Dinklage's subpar performance in D1?
-
To be fair, Dinklage was pulled back into the recording booth. His role wasn’t supposed to be as big as it was.

I know right..... I played since day 1 and my thoughts back then where..... Very bad voice acting from ghost . Why is the story so short? Did that wizard really come from the moon?

Some do. I preferred having a ghost that wasn't full of emotion and "witty" one liners. Nolan North is an amazing VA, but I don't care for how the ghost itself is done.
-
Exactly! The current ghosts, including Sagira, sound too excited, even in this time of turmoil. Dinklage gave the ghost a more serious tone, I think.
