No no, I did read it. I just think the rewards they're giving us for the milestones are really poor and cosmetic, and the only new thing here is a 2 player crucible mode that I really didn't like the first time round. The way they are giving you the rewards is an improvement over the dawning, but it would be hard to have made that worse. A slightly different look for a ghost, or a gun is really rather poor if you ask me. I'd much rather they spent the artists time creating new content for the game, not rehashing old stuff we all have.
I do want more, but the real reason for that is because D1 had so much more. More options in the crucible, more game modes, the ability to choose what you wanted to play. More differentiation in the characters you could play and the play styles. More interesting and unique guns. They took all of that away, and then gave us the same enemies being rehashed again with a slightly duller game mechanics. In addition every time I do play D2 I have to spend half my time organising my inventory. It's really rather poor when they had solved a lot of those problems in D1. They had systems in place to sort that yet they released a game without them. That is pretty damn poor if you ask me.
I get that they are improving their PR but this is how it should have been in the first place, and they're so far away from having an end game that I want to keep coming back to at the moment that I doubt I'll play until the next expansion comes out (which I've already paid for).
