First the endgame and now this? At this point Bungie deserves to die.

16 RepliesMore like the forums will die too! Now that I’ve taken a break, also tried to come back playing! But! The game is devoid off fun, the grind is pointless, pvp is an imbalanced, pie cutting fest in the ilk off a tactical FPS! The game is a generic FPS with no skill tree at all now to bespoke build, which has ruined some exotics in my opinion! Saving Destiny as a whole is borderline impossible now, why, the bitch done cheated on you and it’s never going to be the same again! She going to try it again too but more devious next time!!!!

2 RepliesEdited by Unbrandedpie: 2/8/2018 4:25:34 PMOmg you have to own something from them to use their stuff??? No FUCKING WAY!!! That is absurd!!!! They should at least have a free trial people can play so they don’t have to spend their money!!! Oh wait...

7 RepliesEdited by Unbrandedpie: 2/7/2018 5:57:01 AMAll you trolls that “stopped playing this dead game” are why this is happening. Plenty of trolls here that haven’t played for months or haven’t played at all just spamming the same negative comments. It’s annoying. Guys here judging changes that they haven’t even played with make no sense. Either be a grown up and leave the forums of a game you don’t play. Or log in the damn time so you don’t look like a crazy ex when posting a dumb rant...
Plenty of stores don’t let you use their restrooms if you aren’t a paying customer.

Its -blam!- to think that people who haven’t bought the game, therefore have no insight of what the game is, should be able to continuously bash the game.
Edited by Rapscallion: 2/7/2018 6:09:33 AMIf you would've told me this game/company was going to take such a turn anytime before they started releasing info on D2. I would've slapped the shit out of you lol. I loved this game with a passion.. what a shame.
-
Wait, what happened? I've been living under a rock.
-
Hey, I bought it, I hated it. I want the game to burn... sad it wasnt because the game sucked, but because of the Bungie fanboys.
-
1 ReplyWhat I thought this was the endgame, looks like Reddit is going to get some new bodies and this'll become the echo chamber.
-
Bungie are trying to create themselves an echo chamber.
-
Brilliant. We do know how much bungie love their paywalls.
-
3 RepliesI think the players mute lists are filling up Bungie's disk space so they have to do something.
-
13 Repliesit's just Bungie's way of trying to shut people up so they can make themselves look better. the sad thing some people are actually buying that this will help. news flash, having less people doesn't improve a game, maybe if they actually cared about their players and not just the cash then maybe there would be something nice to say

Edited by magburner: 2/8/2018 12:19:59 AMWith every passing day, I am convinced that the upper echelons of Team Bungie are habitual drug takers, and substance abusers. you quite literally could not make up these last six months of antics. Not content with destroying a much loved franchise they spent years perfecting, Bungie are now intent on alienating everyone else, even those who have never even played Destiny. Bungie at this moment in time, are beyond redemption. I honestly cannot see how they can ever recover from these last six months of unrelenting PR disasters.
-
3 RepliesCensorship is an attempt to silence the critics. I dont approve. Bungie killed off a huge portion of the in-game playerbase, now they want to kill off the forums? Stupid.

7 RepliesEdited by manmythlegend1: 2/7/2018 10:11:44 PMOr perhaps they are trying to keep people who have never played the game from commenting from complete ignorance. If you haven't played the game, what weight should your comments carry? I've never been to Paris. Should my opinions of the city matter? Would you hire me as a tour guide? There is a pretty clear line between heated debates and repetitive, uninformed, drivel. The latter is not productive and does more harm in the feedback loop between player and developer than good.
-
35 RepliesNo, they are making sure that trolls who have never even played the game cannot post here. Do you have reading comprehension problems? Anyone who has been to the FARM!! The -blam!-ing farm!! So basically anyone who has completed the first -blam!-ing mission can post here. What are you worried about, Chester?
-
*play wall. TFTFY.
-
1 ReplyA paywall behind a message board. Jeez. Pornhub puts its best videos behind a paywall. Go complain there.
-
And thus continues the gross misuse and overuse of the term "pay-wall".
-
7 RepliesThe mentality behind this decision is that the forums are to blame for D2 playerbase dying and falling away. Bungie should take the blame (especially Luke Smith) and quit trying to point the finger at these forums.
-
1 ReplyBungie seems to be listening to the BDF's claims that the only people upset are a very small minority creating troll accounts to crap on their game. Sadly, the minority appears to be the BDF themselves...
-
5 RepliesIt could simply be that they want accounts to be tied to active players. Or just real unique users. In other words, in order to create extra troll accounts, you're at least going to have to get to level 3. The policy certainly may have unintended consequences. But I think it's more about cleaning up the forums than anything else.
-
Best thing they have ever done. We don't need trolls who just repuke the crap they have read and have never played the game.
-
Nope just cleaning out the trash.
-
Do behave. They are keeping feedback to players who have at least played the game to some degree. Your post is the perfect example of the wailing and beating on Bungie over every little thing that has dominated the forums. Not many are happy with the game but some of us want some constructive changes not just "let the game burn" posts by players who don't even play the game.
