450 RPM AUTO RIFLES
I cannot tell you how many times i have been shredded by a uriel’s gift or a positive outlook, they definitely need a nerf. But I also want the opinion of the community, what do you think?

They need a buff. Not a nerf. Git good kid.

I get shredded often by these guns but most of the time it's because I stick my head out at the wrong time ie a player problem not the gun. D2 has a chronic lack of stand out weapons these two are the nearest thing there is, leave them alone.

If they nerf it, they should simply nerf the body shot damage. Making hitting precision shots more importants. If anything, pulse rifles need a buff. The only viable archetype right now is the darkest before. The rest of the pulse rifles are too punishing if you miss crits and have steep damage drop off. They just can’t compete with the auto rifles.

I don’t like merging, but you can’t just buff everything else. Even if you buffed the stability and recoil of high impact long range autos from hakke, Uriel’s/positive outlook still flinches more and does more than enough damage to render hakke useless. On top of all that, they have larger magazines.

As of right now, it is my strongest energy weapon. I enjoy using it because it feels super stable when shooting and not all over the place. However, that being said, I almost feel confined to using it because I know most of all the other guns don't really compare to it. Hard Light for example, spent months grinding for this weapon, i was so stoked when It finally dropped, because I was thinking "yes, got a gun I can use in place of Uriel's"....Nope! Hard Light has shitty handling and is all over the place. I don't think they need nerfs, I just really think everything else needs to be buffed. There are other guns I would like to use, but I know it would be hindering me because they just dont compare to the more popular guns we all use. Edit: Another reason I feel confined to using it, especially in PvP, is because most likely everyone else I go up against, may be using it, so if i want to stand a chance, better have that Uriel's.

I've been killed so many times by guns and grenades in PvP....I think it should be melee only...nerf all guns and grenades.....not to mention all the times I've been killed by a super....they need to get rid of that too....Plus nerf all melee abilities

1 ReplyNo they don't. Ttk is too slow as it is, and you want to make it slower? You have got to be kidding me. I'd rather they work on i.proving the game, not making us feel weaker than we already are.

They make all the other autos obsolete and pointless to use since they do everything better than the others. Something *does* need to be done to give the other weapons some use, even a niche one would be ok.
