Is Bungie in complete melt down?
They can't even do a faction event without completely messing it up.
Pve numbers are collapsing, they're now at 670,000 for both games on all platforms. Pre Christmas it was 1.4 million.

4 RepliesHere's what boggles the mind for me at least. 1. The creators of this mess have moved on to designing the new game! 2. The games are being made SOLELY to fullfill a contract that Bungie willingly signed with Activision. They literally don't give a crap what they release as long as they hit the deadline and don't have to enact the penalty clause! 3. Either the management at the studio is being held hostage in their offices and no-one has noticed or MORE WORRYING they've been paid and simply need to finish that last game before they are legally allowed to run for the hills shouting SUCKERS!!

( I'm not saying their totaly innocent) When you should be even more pissed off at Activision for all of the Bullshit they pull. When you read the statement Bungie made about "content being too hard to make". READ the whole thing instead of just pulling those words out of context. And let it sink in a bit. Your so pissed off about Eververse, read the SAME statement and see why it's even in the game. Don't forget Bungie is NOT a independent game company, they are FUNDED by ACTIVISION,, The company THEY answer to. The one who makes deadlines, funds their game development and tells them what content to make in a certain time frame.. Bungie is under contract with Activision the just can't stop (even if they wanted to) to overhaul everything the community wants when it wants it. They have to answer to Activision FIRST.. Sorry that's how REAL WORLD works.. Maybe focusing some of this RAGE at Activision will give Bungie a bit of breathing room to focus on fixing some issues. Rather then them having to focus on pumping out DLC as per contact with Activision.

246.7K ÷ 3= 82.3k players per platform in Crucible Players Yesterday 678.6K ÷ 3 = 226,200 PvE Players (PP) Yesterday’s total player base , so if you take 678.6k -246.7 only playing pvp the number is accurately lower So pVe player count is 432k total , it’s actually more then that [b]you forgot to include 8.2 million people[/b] who bought and actively played since launch ...mathematically, bungie lost about 98 percent of its player base as of yesterday’s data climbs and lowers its interest rate of players, [spoiler]This is what happens when you rush a unfinished game[/spoiler]

5 Repliesi promise you i have been playing on PC in crucible..... and every match is filled with nothing but people from china, japan, and even russia.... the game is matching me up with people on the other side of the planet because their is such a low playerbase right now its impossible to match me up with people in my country...that says volumes about how low the population is right now.
