Looks like Anthem gets my Year 2 Expansion money
Nothing in the blog or TWAB was mildly interesting. They're just giving us back what they took away, and calling it feedback...Sorry you guys already knew we wanted this shit in Y3 D1 and it shouldn't have been something you needed to add, see you guys in Year 3 if the game has decent reviews a few months after the xpacs launch.
Edit: For the record, I have no intentions of Pre-ordering Anthem, what I mean is that Anthem being produced by Bioware, looks far more like its going to scratch my loot shooter itch than Destiny 2 does in the next 2 years. And so I'll wait for Anthem, check its reviews and then go full steam ahead, whereas I'm definitely not buying into another bungie product before Y3 Destiny 2 is out and has been for a month or two.

Don’t get your hopes up buddy . 5 years in development multiple restarts , multiple game directors and well publicized issues and internal struggles. And to top it off it’s an EA game . We’ll see ....

4 RepliesI am going to buy Toukiden 2. I got the Free Alliance trial and that game is pretty sweet... I figured as much though being a KOEI-TECMO title :) Anthem looks pretty dope too, it reminds me of the Lost Planet series.

Buy monster hunter world instead. It's got all the multiplayer action and farming goodness you could ever ask for. All with NO loot boxes and NO season pass replete with free DLC! Rejoice as your new obsession is around the corner! Lol I should work for capcom.

They have showed zero game play of the finished product and the gameplay they have showed chances are its not even game play. I cant see any replay value in the game tbh.

3 RepliesPersonal opinion here, haven't been the biggest fan if Bioware at least not since Mass Effect 3 came out. Do they make good games? They're okay, not mind blowing, but they aren't terrible or even bad. At a certain point I began to expect a certain level of quality from Bioware, and that quality began to fade around the time Mass Effect 3 came out. I'll give Anthem a fair shake, but I don't expect it to be a "Destiny killer".

2 RepliesSo far Anthem sounds like it'll be treated the same way as Destiny, just from a different developer/publisher. It's a new IP from a "respected" developer, that has a very greedy publisher. Most likely the publisher has caused many people from the developer team to leave, constantly bringing changes, and is already taking about a "10 year experience". This game is nearly guaranteed to end up the same way as destiny.

Why move from one bad company to another? Biowares last game was trash and lets not talk about EA. Thats pretty much out of the frying pan into the fire.

DON’T preorder Anthem!! There’ll be plenty of copies to go around. Wait for unbiased reviews. Don’t mean to preach, but I think preordering games lets Devs and publishers release half assed games.

My money is all going to fortnite right now. The PVP is a lot of fun to play. I've already spent about $120 dollars on the game in the last 3 months. I already have more hours into that game then I have in destiny 2. Sucks bungie missed the nail with pvp in destiny 2. I'd love to play it. It's just soooo bad, un exciting, un rewarding trash.

So that means Anthem will not get your money until you watch the reviews? So that means you are not sure it will get you Y2 money? Is that about right?
