Bungie for-going a TWAB this week until next week when it is all hands on deck means the TWAB on January 11th is going to be detrimental to Destiny 2.
With the majority of the community rebelling against Eververse, a lack of end game, vault space, being sold back content that existed before (and various other reasons), this upcoming TWAB and how Bungie handles these issues will determine D2 and its legacy.
I pray they make the right decisions for the customer base and regain that trust and happiness that it blatantly ruined.

2 RepliesIt all depends on what people's view on "change" is. What Bungie sees as change does not always, and will never, meet what others view change as. Oh....they may address certain issues and make some people happy for a time, but there are those, lets be real honest here, that will never be happy. This whole #Remove Eververse issue for instance. It isn't going anywhere and you all have to realise that. The demand for the removal is petty and just childish. Do I defend Eververse? No. Do I realise the reality of this issue? YES. I realised, a long time ago, that Bungie is going to do what Activision and their Investors want over what the player/fan base wants. That means we will, in all likelihood, still have MTX come this time next week. These other "changes" they are making? Should they have too make them? No. These issues should not be issues at all! They should have been dealt with well before now. This is damage control. An attempt to pacify us. Nothing more.

1 ReplyLol u must be new here
-
That's the problem; saying anything is irrelevant at this point. They've proven they're capable of saying whatever and delivering nothing. Make a very short statement and that day, introduce a patch to start adding stuff. That's the only doing that's worth while at this point.
-
Lets hope they get it right and give us dates and quickly and before the next dlc.
-
2 RepliesJust be prepared for disappointment 😞

With this weekly update, Bungie is either going to calm the community or just poor gasoline on the raging fire that is the community's resentment, and I'm looking forward to it.

2 RepliesJanuary 11, 2018 Update, Full transcript: Deej: Hello guardians! We are launching a talk-show on how we are planning to fix Destiny 2 soon! Launch is on the way, we'll continue informing you. Next TWAB we'll talk about the launch preparations. Deej, out.

You make some valid points and i agree that EverVerse must be removed from the game. PS: I do hope they finally listen to their player base. I do still give a damn, but when you release a half assed dlc like the COO. Its things like this that will drive me away from this game, and lose faith in bungie. I really do hope the update is good, because if they fail to listen then expect a lot more players to leave the game.

Think the next TWAB will be the point of not return for many. Either they will do things to mend the relationship or they won’t. Guess we will see
-
2 RepliesWell we know that Mayhem will be removed from the game, too many people are enjoying this mode so it's gotta go.

1 ReplyI expect it to be very vague like, “We are looking at changes for the Eververse store for the future.” Which doesn’t tell anyone what those changes could be or if they will even be meaningful. This is done to get people to hang onto their words, continue to play, keeps the player sticking around in a false hope state of limbo. There will be no information that is useful and it won’t tell you exactly what the future holds for this game. They never tell you HOW they will do it, but that they are looking into it and that changes MAY come SOMETIME in the FUTURE, leaving people in a constant state of suspension and in a constant state of fantasy. This is manipulative. It is a psychological trick. Don’t fall for it anymore. If it were me, I would quit playing and not return until meaningful changes were actually implemented into the game. If people just keep playing they know they can continue to use the same manipulative/psychological tactics on you. If you enjoy the game then that’s great, if you don’t, WHY PLAY? Why encourage this sort of abuse from a rich gaming studio? The only way the players get what they want is to stop playing, stop buying, and inform other players what is really going on.

All I know is if I see any of these 3 lines their full of shit. "We are listening" "We are working on something special" "Designing is hard" They need to give us straightforward answers no more vague shit we dealt with that for 3+years we shouldn't put up with anymore.
-
How about the two NEW strikes which are basically story missions with new voiceovers? How about a extremely UNENJOYABLE pvp? I could go on forever but I have better things to do.
-
It'll just be a new way to use that Ghost App voice thing for buying stuff easier in Eververse.

1 Reply*On Jan 11th* *Hops on to look at updates* The page says " A huge issue in our community that needs to be fixed" The article says " We have noticed all of your complaints & we have tackled them, Arcstrider has been nerfed "
-
It'll be a load of words but no follow up. "we hear you about Eververse etc, we will discuss this soon! But btw that emote wheel is nearly ready!"
-
6 RepliesI bought Titanfall 2 on sale for $20 and I've been playing that. So far I've enjoyed it. I can't believe it flew under the radar its a decent game. Maybe I just needed a break from Destiny. Been playing destiny mainly since D1. So it's a nice change of pace.

Just uninstall and quit you moaning fool leave now!!!

They won't say a thing about it
-
I don’t think they will get rid of eververse. Maybe add some crucible game modes in February. Maybe a forge mode also. Their team has been on vacation. They aren’t cranking new content overnight.
-
4 RepliesThey already listed a road map of things they want to do in a previous weekly review. Of which 2 of the patches have already dropped when they said it would. They will most likely say they are going to adjust EV. The people that think it is going to be removed are kidding themselves. We will maybe get a date for the upcoming sandbox patch. That's it. Nothing more.

1 ReplyI think you mean instrumental. I mean ultimately you are right, it will be detrimental since the most news we will get out of it will probably be that they are listening and that they are currently discussing ways to improve Eververse, not addressing our main concerns at all. But, hey, at this point will any of us really be surprised? I mean those of us who care enough for Destiny to improve and become the game we had hopes for back in 2014 will continue to complain. Those who like the game in its current form will continue to play and buy loot boxes. And those who misunderstand the complaining on these forums will continue to bash those who are attempting to push Destiny to new greater heights, rooting for Bungie no matter what they do. In the end Bungie will continue to slowly phase those of us who loved Destiny 1 Year 3 out to bring in those people who want FPS elements over RPG elements.

With the majority of the community rebelling against Eververse.
Complete and utter bullshit!
