Destiny is dead to me....forever
Thanks to activision and bungie, I now hate the game. The countless hours I’ve spent playing destiny 1 and loved the game despite all of its short comings. This eververse bs was the final straw. Bungie....you know you lied and misled all of your fans, just admit it. You’re clueless and have no idea how to fix your mess. What you are doing is straight up criminal and you money grubbing assholes should be be ashamed of how you treat your loyal fans. So until eververse is gone, random rolls come back, pvp and pve sandbox is separate, exotics are actually exotic, loot system isn’t broken, -blam!- it there’s to much to list.

AKA common sense to the rescue (or more likely a Yoda wanna be giving advice in a world full of confused kids....but, nonetheless) the forces of emotional baggage from self implosion. Or whatever.... My proposal: Please be respectful and hear me out. A REAL solution to the Eververse dilema. It is not the lack of Gear to grind for? is it not the Lack of guns to even use because most of them are not very good? the lack of exotic guns which ALL pretty much suck? every one is so sad about -blam!-ing cosmetics when the BASE GAME is STILL IN TROUBLE.. but no lets just make bungie feel cosmetic -blam!-ing gear is the problem....

24 RepliesDon't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out D2 is by no means a perfect game, but it certainly isn't anywhere near as bad as some of you are making it out to be. The raids are still freaking fantastic, the strikes are beautifully designed and highly enjoyable. The worlds are beautiful and interesting. The game itself looks and sounds beautiful and the gunplay and movement mechanics are still best in class. That said Eververse does needs tweaking. Unlike most of you I am not calling for it's removal. I understand the cost of game development in general is higher than ever and costs associated with supporting a live game with new content are significant. That said too many items are locked behind Eververse. Take some of the items out and tie them to strike loot/raid loot/lost sectors etc etc..and make it so items that are there can be purchased directly. I have no issue if someone wants to spend money on a ship or a ghost. The problem right now is you are spending money on the CHANCE to get what you want. That is the fundamental problem with Eververse. Ultimately though I love this game. It is still very much Destiny and it brings myself and MANY others tons of enjoyment. I have gotten my money worth so many times over at this point. I have 600+ hours in now and I am looking forward to the Prestige Easter of Worlds and the next DLC.

lol at the bitching about eververse.. the real problem is the crucible. cosmetics arent shit over the actual game that needs fixing.

The last straw for me was the COO. 1) A short ass campaign with one of the worst final bosses of the destiny series. 2) 2 DLC missions they try to pass off as brand new strikes 3)Almost nothing to explore on Mercury. It was one of the few planets i was looking forward to exploring,and wtf do we get just 1 lousy public event. Why couldn't they have added in the infinite forest into places to explore while adding in more public events like the other areas of the game. 4) Poor Osiris only gets a cameo at the end it it was barely 20 seconds long. Who's genius idea was this? I would like to smack him in the face with my rubber duckie.
