Sure, the campaign is easy, but the game itself is pretty entertaining.

19 RepliesPeople like this are why the game is bad in the first place. You would be happy if they gave you a turd on a plate, because you people are weak and accept whatever you're given.
-
I liked it too. What I especially liked about it was how cool the main villain looked and how cool the last mission was.

1 ReplyI think the casual playerbase enjoys the game. I also think they enjoyed the game back in d1... .so really all they accomplished was losing most of the playerbase at the middle to top of the bell curve.

1 Reply<It's short, but visually stunning. I REALLY wish that I could explore the future... not just Mercury, but the entire solar system. Imagine, the glowing eyes of Vex covering Mercury with the blackened Sun behind it. The lack of clouds on Venus, an empty husk of what it once was, now it's just the Vault and its surface. The ruined Earth, broken Traveler lying over the remains of the Last City, now Vexified. Mars, the Gate of the Garden now bigger than ever, Cabal warbases torn and converted. The Reef... gone, replaced with a system-wide Vex ring. Jupiter, now solid metal. Io and the other moons fully converted, ruins of the Darkness start to appear as the future has nothing but Vex. The Dreadnaught, gone. Saturn, converted. The system is dark, and all the stars in the sky start to burn out as the Vex's perfect future spreads.>

4 RepliesIt’s ok, not great, not nearly as good as it could or should have been, but it’s certainly not terrible & I’ll certainly get my £16.99’s worth 🤪

1 ReplyI played the instant it released for multiple hours, i played yesterday and guess what i am going to play today aswell since the game is simply enjoyable and there is a lot of content.
-
I was so hopeful when I saw new vexx but then saw cabal and others like seriously it’s just lazy. New loot, new larger levels, difficult campaign, new enemies. Basically use common sense and do what every other game dev does for DLC

Don't give into the negativity... and to everyone else, EVERYONE has a right to have an opinion... just because you don't agree doesn't mean you have to call them idiots... good day guardians
-
agreed, for a first expansion i thought it was good

Finally a voice of reason amid the sea of discontent.

Any new content is welcomed but the patrol area misses a trick to be honest. It’s too small to be a patrol area - after one lap of the donut I’ve memorised where all the enemy spawns are. The infinite forest is not accessible in patrol, which was essentially branded as the most interesting playable area of the expansion. The areas in the adventures are pretty big, that adventure where you chase a colossus around a maze comes to mind. Why aren’t these areas accessible in patrol? But the worst thing is that it’s art design is really boring, like D1 mars. The patrol area should be the Dr Seuss like Mercury past area. It’s such a waste that arguably the most unique environment design is related to a few story missions you can’t even freely play!

These 'raid lairs' have me scratching my head. The only thing I can possibly throw a link to is Warcraft, where some raids are long and mechanical but some you just walk in smack a bigass boss and walk out. I really hope it doesn't turn out to be like that.

3 RepliesThe campaign is over too soon and Mercury is small. Destiny deserves better.

1 ReplyMy rating for Curse of Osiris: 7/10 Destination: Good example of "quality over quantity." It may be small, but it's a beautiful little map that I can see myself going to often in the future. Just wish we had more freedom in terms of getting into the Infinite Forest though. Campaign: Wasn't as bad as people keep trying to claim it is. It's a solid 3 hour campaign that did what it promised: explore the lore of the Vex and Osiris. Although, it seemed like it expected players to already know about most of the lore for the two, but it isn't a big problem. Soundtrack: Destiny has always had one of the best soundtracks in gaming imo. I really like music for this expansion. Of course, I still have more things to explore. But I already know I might enjoy it.

Edited by xDispenserx: 12/7/2017 6:48:36 AMI really wanted to like CoO. Unfortunately, the whole time I was playing the campaign ( like 2ish hours maybe), I was bored out of my mind and rolled my eyes more than a few times at all the sentimental bs and corny one-liners (little light anyone? Just typing it makes me gag). Maybe I held too high of expectations, but I cannot give CoO rave reviews.

I'm enjoying it too! Can't wait to collect all the prophecy weapons and Osiris armor!
-
It didn't introduce any substantial activities. So you're having fun with the base game right?
-
hey. me too. I like it a lot.

3 RepliesGet ready for the shitstorm of the community. I personally love it, but I am mad at how I have to get my beloved Jade Rabbit back. It took me until he last dlc of D1 to get it, now it's probably going to be the same story. :(
-
Destiny 2 is a good game. The bashing on it is crazy. What I've played of Osiris I've enjoyed. Log into the game regularly to play.
-
I liked it too I’m having fun.
-
My only complain with the DLC is the campaign is very short and Mercury is very small.
-
no you don't
-
I like bananas 🍌

3 RepliesYeah overall it is. I'm just literally pissed about the story of it. Bungie has such a great universe that has some interesting details that I really wish would actually make it into the general players experience. instead Bungie just continues to play safe and only give gameplay attention. Ikora being able to open the door for literally no reason aside from the slapped together writing, in that single moment both invalidate sagira's importance as a new character but also made our progress as a player the 2 ish hours we put out basically meaningless. It's the stupidest i've seen Bungie handle their own story telling.

Yup, enjoying it for what it is. Wasn't expecting some game changing expansion like some clearly were. Another update next week with the masterworks system should be interesting too.
