I was stupid and bought the season pass.
Me and my brother just finished Curse of Osiris and well, simply put it was not fun, like at all. The best moment of the 90 minutes this game lasted was when we actually got 2 tokens and a blue from the public event. The infinite forest feels completely pointless and tedious. The Mercury patrol zone is a joke.
I highly advise you not to buy this expansion. Everything is so incredibly easy and boring, nothing is worth anything.
The only function tokens have in this game is to constantly remind me how much i hate this game and what bungie is trying to do with it ("beer and pizza game"-.-).
I haven't played the last 10 weeks but i already bought the season pass (stupid me) so i tried it but i wont touch d2 again until the next expansion.

I've been playing Destiny since the D1 open beta. I'm pretty much used to Bungie's shenanigans at this point. I know that unless the community comes together to make an impact on Bungie's wallets, they're just going to keep doing this stuff and getting away with it. We need to stop buying silver, stop buying season passes, and for the love of God STOP pre-ordering. Unfortunately this community is also filled with fanboys who believe Destiny was a gift to us all and that Bungie can do no wrong. Can't send a clear message if there's someone right next to you screaming, "LA LA LA LA CAN'T HEAR YOU LA LA LA LA". Pointless ranting aside, people say "If you don't like the game, don't play it." But I LOVE Destiny! If I could only play one game for the rest of my life it would be Destiny. I want this game to be better and live up to it's full potential more than anything. But I'm afraid it never will and that's sad.

7 RepliesSo other words, note to self. Don't ever pre-order anything from this company ever again?

14 RepliesI don't get how people are saying it only lasts an hour. We played for three last night and didn't finish it. Clearly people are just running through so they can complain.

I was stupid and bought the season pass.
You are not stupid. Bungie got some snazzy PR and marketing. And the lies of course. Always the lies. Don't be so hard on yourself.

1 ReplyAlmost as boring and soulless as you. Congrats

4 RepliesYeah Destiny just isn't the game for me anymore

13 RepliesCoO is an awesome dlc, with all the current changes i will keep playing. Bungie, you guys are indeed moving in the righy direction. For the price of the dlc, i truthly will get my money worth. So thank you and btw the infinite forest arc was awesome. Cant wait for what you have for us in the future. Happy holiday and enjoy your upcoming time off.

38 RepliesGamers are supposed to have higher than average IQ...why are gamers the stupidest most gullible consumers on the planet? What if you bought a 2014 BMW in 2014 with all the bells and whistles. Then in 2017 you upgraded only to find they removed a shit load of features and made it worse. So you go tk the dealer and they say sorry we want you to suck our cocks your stuck with it but if you wait about a month then pay us extra money we can possibly maybe give you one or two of the features you used to have but not all. BMW would go out of business. But nope not for gamers forums are full of gamers defending disgusting business practises and companies that fleece the fan base. Why are gamers so unbelievably stupid? It's embarrassing sometimes calling myself one because so many fit the idiotic stereotype. STOP being gullible idiots and buying into shit that is clearly a fleecing. Grow your own damn brain.

Only two things were above mediocre for me. The design choices (Locations and environment was very good in my opinion.) Our temporary companion who I prefer over our Nolanbot.

• Infinite Forest was a waste of time • Mercury was super underwhelming Disappointed but not surprised.

5 RepliesEvery one that complained about the game and then bought the DLC now has forfeited all rights to complain. Everyone knew what they were getting in to. It is not groundbreaking news that this game is not fun, challenging, or substantial as far as content. I am not buying any DLC until the real expansion that will come out next year or whatever and by then, either the game will be “fixed” or it will be so far gone that I won’t feel any need to purchase it. When we complain and then still purchase content we become toothless tigers and our feedback is then relegated to “whining”. Don’t reward companies who actively work against the gamer (like bungie). This is the same dev group who literally a couple weeks ago lied to everyone about XP gains to promote microtransactions. Bungie told us exactly what we were getting in the dlc. A short story, no raid, only a small portion of the major changes the community had requested, AND COOL NEW COSMETICS YOOOO.

Yeah I got 2 tokens and blue

1 ReplyThis guy. “I’m not buying the trash DLC!” (buys DLC) Later “The DLC sucks! Why did I buy it!

It's just a part time game, man. I do about 3/4 of my milestones every week and then go back to D1. It's faster paced and still more fun.

How can you have End Game Friendship Deej? You can't even find people to play with? WTF? Least you could do is turn on Matchmaking for NF? NF's aren't that hard? c'mon Bungie... Let people Breath?

14 RepliesThese days. The more successful something is. The more haters is acquires. All this noise on the forums is a sign of destinys popularity. It's like Nickleback or DC movies or starwars prequels. People don't even know what they hate exactly just that they must to fit in.

3 RepliesI think having played part of the DLC my conclusion is that the reason that this game isn't resonating with so many of us is, because it's been designed and made for children for the most part, not adults. I mean, take a listen to the ghost's voice, sounds pretty much like a child or a very camp adult. I noticed on the story line that you can no longer see how many kills you got in the story, I guess this must be to stop kids throwing their toys out of their prams. Also the way everything has been dumbed down, it's so easy , too easy and therefore doesn't pose the majority of adults any challenge, unless you count prestige or timers in nightfalls (which don't really provide the right kind of challenge, it just pisses most people off if they don't complete it) I am not sure what the answer is here, but I know nightfalls in Destiny 1 were way better than they are now. It's a shame but I guess Destiny is headed in a different direction than it started. I suppose that's what happens when they try to make a product that appeals to the majority (because of their previous products) and yet only pleases kids and very causal players

I was disappointed in the story... A LOT of it was the same as some missions from VD1 (eye of the gate lord) and the "boss" looked just vex oryx...
