BUNGIE RUINED DESTINY!!!!
I used to LIVE on D1. Anytime I was home I was playing. Now I could care less. Why did you mess with the weapon format? SMG's as primary?! Seriously? People rolling with duel sidearms! Oh yeah, sidearms....that reminds me....you screwed that up in D1 too, and carried that failed meta right over to d2. Why?! A pea-shooter should NOT be able to out gun an auto rifle. Nor should it have ridiculous in-air accuracy. I have read the forum notes about the upcoming changes to be released in December, but none of them really seem to address the unbalanced state of weapons. A sequel should never be a complete overhaul of a game that so many fell in love with. Add/Enhance, change a few things up but do not sell a game under the guise that it is sequel when it's not even close to what the original was. Bungie please please please go back to your roots and bring back the Destiny I once loved. For nearly 3 years I did not touch another game. If my ps4 was on, it was logged into destiny.

21 RepliesYou seemed confused. Bungie didn't do anything wrong besides listening to the complaining pvp crowd. D2s failure is a direct result of catering to the wants and needs of casual players. I like to call them the pvp players. If you ever read up on D1 forums it was constant nerf this nerf that buff this posts. Well bungie simply answered their call and this is what we have. Bungie didn't ruin D2.....the pvp crowd did....

There are a few people trying to defend a lame excuse of a game but what I don’t get is if they love it so much WHAT ARE THESE PEOLE HYPING THE GAME DOING HERE??? WHY AREN’T THEY PLAYING. I’m pretty sure that Luke Smith and the Activision crew is spamming the forums trying to get people to buy what’s broken.

I don't think Bungie ruined Destiny. Destiny is a ton of fun to play, even to this day. Destiny 2 is pretty bad though, especially the end game.

3 RepliesAfter playing on my nephews account, this game xpac sucks. Feels generic AF. TTK was when everything started to feel right, actually no, HoW was the turning point. But this game feels kinda boring. That's just me though. At least bungo saved me money, so that's a plus. Back to WoW for now to do some real raids, not this bull$hit bungie calls a raid.

1 ReplyComplaining about sidearms in D2? LOL. Sure they should beat AR's inside their intended range, which isn't much. They've always had ridiculous in air accuracy, even in D1. If you let a player get close enough to shred you with a sidearm that's on you. That doesn't mean they're OP, it just means you got outplayed.

Ironically, the only good thing about D2 right now is the PvP... not because I like the current system better than D1's (pre-2-14), but because in trying to appeal to casuals, Bungie also helped out people like me. Right now, most of the matches I've been in feature players close to my skill level (I'm not that great). Of course, the hardcore PvP experts are mad because there's no more nice squishy cupcakes for them to stomp on, but maybe we cupcakes didn't really like that. It's also been way friendlier; no teabags or insulting posts after the match. However, I still think Bungie could make PvE great again... best way would be to allow legendary weapons to be great and exotic weapons to be awesome. And, simply limit the hardcore PvP modes, the ones where total balance is essential... to BLUE weapons or lower. These could have static rolls, what you see what you get, no spectacular perks. Voila, Crucible is balanced, and we PvE fans can run wild with our Thorns, Gjallarhorns, Ice Breakers, Fate Bringers, and Dark Drinkers.

As long as Bungie and Activision hit their financial goals ,then we are all screwed. Because they obviously are not putting that money back into the game. The money is going straight into the coffers of the CEO's. Damn shame really. What they need to do is reinvest and upgrade there live team to actually have depth of content produced. Otherwise this game will extinguish once and for all. You can forget about a 10 year plan, barely made 4.
