The Problem and Solution to the Vault
The Main issue with the vault is the lack of organization. It is hard to get to either armor or weapons, and it is hard to find a specific item.
Some people may say the issue is space, but even if they add more space it will still be just as hard to find anything
[b][u]My Solution[/u][/b]
First split the weapons, armor, and customizations in different tabs. This would not effect how much you could store of each type. [b]It would only be for easier access. [/b]
Tabs should have these sorters
[b]Alphabetical[/b]: allows you to find duplicates
[b]Power[/b]: allows you to find your weakest weapons to get rid of or high power ones you have saved for Infusions
[b]Weapon Type[/b]: sorts your weapons into handcannons, auto rifles, etc...
[b][u]Additional Ideas[/u][/b]
[b]Favorites[/b]: Allow us the ability to find weapons we have marked as favorites so that on default it shows up first.
[b]Filters[/b]: Basically sorters but doesn't show anything other than what's chosen as the filter.
Example: Handcannon filter only show Handcannons
[b]Armor Sets[/b]: Sorts your armor sets into groups so you can find them easily. add a ability to add all items of that armor set.

Considering most of the stuff looks the same and a lot of it is pure garbage I only have 4 or 5 things in my vault so not having any issues lol

We need more organizational options. As for space a slight increase is fine. However what we really need is them to update the Collection system more so than the vault. Due to static rolls there is zero reason as to why Legendary weapons and armor can't be cataloged via that system the same as Exotics. I would have a lot of space in my vault if I could dismantle all the things I don't use. However I don't dismantle them because I'd then lose that item. A vastly expanded Collection system would fix a lot of the problems with the current vault.

Only 3 or 4 guns that matter,maybe 5+ One spare set of armour for each character

The companion app has full sorting features, yet the game doesn't nor does the website have any storage management features like it used to. Bungievision obviously wants to force you into using that instead because data mining people's phones/devices is the way everything works these days apparently.

2 RepliesThe vault in Destiny 2 might actually be the worst way of dealing with inventory in any game ever. Not only that the name banner of the weapon you are on hides about 6 surrounding items which is crazy annoying. It's pot luck finding anything.

Great solution. In the mean time though I’ve just tried out every gun and deleted ones I don’t like. 20 weapons total in Vault and 40+ legendary mods, not a lot of guns I care to use I guess.

2 RepliesEdited by Trax: 12/2/2017 12:35:16 AMAlso I stopped using the in game vault. There are better 3rd party item managers out there like Ishtar commander for one and "the vault" highlights duplicates for you. Just go to the iOS or Google play store and search destiny.
