Destiny 2's player population drops to 600,000. After xmas comes and people get better games it will sink to never seen before lows.
The dlc is like taking a pee on a forest fire.

Started playing Warframe 3 weeks ago,loving it,plenty to do,popped in to Xur a couple of weeks ago to pick up an exotic,if you can call them that now,I didn’t have,and even that felt like I was walking to the Drs office for the results of a Cancer test,there is absolutely nothing in the dec 5 release that makes me feel like playing again then,or anytime soon,why bother when it will be the same old same old two days later,ooh look I’ve got a “new” exotic,hold on didn’t I have that in D1.ive still got 70% of ACO to finish,hell I even bought Lego marvel 2,plus there are more new games on the horizon.its a shame because I loved D1 but with D2 I feel like I’ve just pulled out of the Lamborghini dealership in my new Aventador only to find out it has a Ford Fiesta engine in it.

Just got witcher 3 so a lot of my time will be spent there Loving warframe rn. Everyone saying it's p2w but it's not. I'm currently building my seventh frame and I haven't spent any money And I'm gettting a switch for Christmas lol destiny is just a distant memory at this point

I'm already playing AC:O and will get [i]that[/i] dlc. Also playing Wolfenstein 2...lmao...great shooter. Also bought Witcher 3 complete and Horizon zero dawn or whatever it is for 20 apiece. Will be playing Monster Hunter when it arrives and, hopefully, Borderlands 3 next year sometime.

I’m staying clear from all the season pass content, since i’ve already experienced my fair share of disappointment after D2 was released. For those of you who can’t leave D2 in its grave, I’d suggest waiting at least a week after the first dlc drops so that you have a better idea on what you’re purchasing. Be smart, don’t let Bungie fool you AGAIN with their lies right before the first expansion.

My buddy actually gifted me the season pass. I didn’t buy it, because I had no desire to continue. However, he loves it, and its something we can do. So, i’ll be playing just a touch further, but at very limited intervals lol.

Edited by Crunchyblack: 12/2/2017 9:01:42 AMI think the next major drop is going to be shortly after the Osiris DLC. few hours in the campaign, get my 2 tokens and a blue a few times....im not interested in raids and pvp is for me a side dish to break up the farming that doesnt exist. People will drop off and wait for the expansion. After that the 3rd major drop off as people who bought the season pass can leave without wasting their purchase. Thats going to be the big one. LOTS of people have the season pass who got it before they knew the game wasnt a loot farming game. That will be D2 armageddon if they dont bring back loot farm and some fun ways to get loot. Problem is thats a long ways off and its hard to get people back into a game that left a foul taste in their mouth. Im not sure im going to be interested in it even though i have it....and im simple, all i need is a great loot farming mechanic and fun stuff to farm, with a bit of character progression and ill dump thousands of hours and buy everything you throw at me.....

1 ReplyThe problem Bungie is in right now is that will whatever they do to fix the game actually result in people coming back? I have issues returning to games after a work week...granted im forcing myself to play by ignoring other games id like to start playing to get my money out of the game. Potential is there like ive never seen before, but only because the game world is great, the music and ambience is great, and i fcking love the scifi-FPS gunplay-in what should be a loot based game but isnt....game type...which doesnt exist elsewhere other than Borderlands series... If borderlands ever makes a MMO like this, but using their lore (where cheezy humor actually works) and their standard mechanics....id never care about this game or IP again....at least they take the time to explain the lore properly before throwing you into some side story made campaign as an intro to the PC market....so much potential if they just took the lore seriously as well.... Such a shame this game is.

Once I ran the raid on all three characters, failed at trials on all three characters, and didn’t bother to reach max light level since there is no White Whale to chase, I finally bought Borderlands: Handsome Jack Collection for like 20 bucks. So that is what a looter shooter is supposed to be........

The Surge’s Walk in the Park dlc. It’s actually a playable game unlike LoTF or maybe souls/Bloodborne have spoiled me. Still would have liked to see a more fleshed out and expanded LoTF, seemed like an interesting world despite its meh ending and awful combat.
