I prefer to accept opinions of folks who actually played the full DLC (which no one has). IGN's article is based on presumptions of another players experience of an incomplete expansion. This community is full of folks who enjoy outrage for the sake of outrage regardless of the content and credibility of the writers. I too am hoping for the same changes that most folks want and I am optimistic we'll see it, just not as fast as the player base want. I am encouraged by yesterday's blog post and there are a ton of other people encouraged too, there just not on the forums to say so.

5 RepliesNot saying the writer is wrong with some of the points but IGN is just a website that is always looking for the readers. When they see a community that prefers to attack the developers, they are going to join in just to get some readers with positive feedback for them from said community. I can tell the website doesn't actually edit it's Articles very well due to the fact that this writer uses "layer" at one point then "lair" at another.

sad thing is and what players need to realise young and old bungie is no longer that company that brought us halo it is now a company that has been taken over by greed it is now a company that lies to its consumer then tries to cover it up it is now a company that false advertises and so on i cant be bothered to type anymore

As it stands Bungie just made a bunch of promises and though I’m disappointed and although I’m not playing the game as much as I would like to, I’m gonna play Curse of Osiris cause I paid for it. If the game does not improve I’ll move on. If that happens I’ll never give Bungie one penny more ever again Disappointed Edit. Because if it is, it doesn’t feel like one, it feels like an overpriced DLC to D1, they didn’t add what was good with D1 to D2, but then bring it back gradually and make you pay for it in DLC’s but when you’re paying £50 for a ‘base’ game and £30 for 2 DLC’s I want something to log on to everyday, look I’m not a D1 vanilla, beta, veteran, but I’m not a noob either.. or a casual player.. like a lot of players I just feel a bit cheated and why shouldn’t I/we? You took our money and we want something back for it, is that asking to much? I don’t think so anyway, and I want to believe in this game, in Bungie.. we don’t want excuses we want an end product that we paid for.. this is just an opinion, I’m not out to piss anyone off.. I’m just frustrated with it all like a lot of other players are too..
