Should the community boycott Curse Of Osiris?
Content of the DLC aside, do we really want to send the message to Bungie and Activision that we will buy their product no matter what? With all the uproar about Microtransactions, and the deliberately rigged Experience points system I think it's a good time to put the foot down.

Developing studios spending (wasting) time creating paid for loot boxes, when they should, instead, or could have be filling these empty carcasses with more meaningful content. Has the gaming community grown to accept these sleazy practices? Have so many become complacent? If the future doesn’t change, and soon, then it’s time for a new hobby. I hope EA’s debacle just ruined mtx’s for all developing studios. I really, really hope every studio gets hit with the “It’s gambling and therefore illegal” tag, and this generation of mtx’s is put to a crushing end. Give me more to play, not more to pay. And go f* yourselves, Bungie. You slept with the devil, now reap the whirlwind. Contrary to what Wall Street thinks, gamers are NOT all idiots! So, f* those a$$clowns too

I haven't played in a little over a month now and, even though I pre-ordered everything, I am probably still not going to play curse of osiris. The only satisfaction I really get out of all this is that my girlfriend enjoys her birthday present, so I guess there is that at least, otherwise I would have deleted it and moved on.

4 RepliesIf Bungie were really smart, I mean really, really smart, here's what they would do: Give away Curse of Osiris for free as a good-will gesture. Comp it. Most people who bought the game already paid for the season pass, give those folks a 1/2 price credit on whatever the 3rd expansion is going to be. Everyone should get Curse of Osiris for free. Then, and only then, would we start looking at the QoL improvements and see if they're actually improving the QoL.

I’d hold off on any boycotts until after we hear what Bungie has to say simce they went and cancelled the live stream in order to address the community and its many, many, many, many complaints.

We want more reasons to play Destiny 2. I don’t know about you but CoO seems like a pretty big reason to play Destiny 2, at least in the short term. I haven’t played Destiny 2 in 2 weeks and that is 2 weeks too many. I want these changes as much as the next guy but Bungie has obviously heard us and not playing won’t make them work faster.

Play Destiny 1, I'm tempted to fire it up on the 1X Bungie need to act FAST. That what happens when they bite the hands the feed em. community doing a great job! voicing concerns. Remebmer We paid there salary!

Honest broski, I jumped back to warframe and oddly been playing sunset overdrive. Bungie needs to figure out wtf they wanna do with this game, I'm more disappointed not only as a gamer but also as a inspiring developer. I can't dedicate my time to a game that doesn't respect it.
