Content of the DLC aside, do we really want to send the message to Bungie and Activision that we will buy their product no matter what? With all the uproar about Microtransactions, and the deliberately rigged Experience points system I think it's a good time to put the foot down.

What community?
-
Pretty sure they already have.
-
2 RepliesAbsolutely. Boycott it for the cash grab that it is and boycott it for Bungie's shitty practices and total disregard for any feedback that's given to them.
-
I am!
-
2 RepliesI think it's just as simple as we should stop with the pre orders. Wait for them to ship it and if it's good then they get money, if not there's plenty of other games.
-
I wish I could get my money back. Scamivision totally -blam!-ed us... And Bungie let it happen

Edited by Yo Erk: 11/29/2017 6:15:09 PMThanks to the Call of Duty series, particularly CoD: Ghost I stopped pre-ordering games and purchasing DLC content before I know what I am really buying. Think about it for a moment. What other product do you pay in advanced without knowing everything about it? Answer for most of us is, nothing! Now I'm saying we shouldn't have the story spoiled for us ahead of time and things of that nature, but if I would have known things like Destiny 2's lack of PvP playlist, game modes, I seriously would have reconsidered buying Destiny 2 a few days after released. And I feel like I was tricked because though it's my fault to assume things such as a selectable playlist and game modes returning from Destiny 1 would be in the sequel, at the same time it wasn't made clear that it would be cut out. So now if I want to have those options I have to kick out more money only to once again speculate and assume, I don't think so!! In short not buying DLC until I know what I buying. And by the looks of it, people who already bought the DLC aren't getting very much. Especially on the PvP side. One known map on Titan. And since I'm on Xbox I get even less.

I'm not buying it, very disapointed. plus here in canada it's 50$ for both DLC, you can't just buy one. I can buy used FULL games for less... This is definitely not worth 50$. Plus why do you force me to buy the next one... I'm going to be even more pissed if the first DLC is crap which I believe it will be. And for the first time ever there isn't a new Raid that comes with it, just unlocked rooms from the current raid.... Talk about lazy work that follows the same mentality as changing shaders and calling it new. I will be following Activision stock price closely and I hope it goes down enough that things will change. Vote with your wallet!

I'm going to wait until they're on sale before I buy Destiny games/dlc from now on.

4 RepliesEdited by Stanry Roo: 11/29/2017 4:46:35 AMAs amusing and healthy for bungie as it would be. Some of us (including me) have been r3tard3d enough to buy the season pass at the launch of the game. (Yes our parents dropped us many times as babies)
-
Edited by l Beanie l: 11/29/2017 5:47:51 PMYes. I won't buy any more until I hear "changes are coming quickly"

1 ReplyLoyal d1 player Still not ordered Osiris yet I will after it drops
-
2 RepliesI haven't bought it yet. I made the mistake and jumping in the season pass on destiny 1 and regretted the lack on content added in. I don't know enough about this new dlc to throw my money into destiny again. Why haven't they released everything in the dlc yet. It goes live in a week and are still keeping most of the content under wraps. Why can't I buy each dlc separately. Maybe I'm just not seeing the options but all I see on the psn is the season pass. I have to buy into both dlc without knowing anything about them? I could see if there was a discount or benefit from previous ordering but it is actually worse time buy sooner. New player for the dlc and game at a huge discount over the black Friday sale, but anyone who has been loyal and playing since day 1 were only offered the dlc at full price. This makes me want to wait on content. It's all the same grind later on. I had friends who bought the full destiny 1 game for about $40 and they wouldn't switch to destiny 2 at a higher price with less bang for your buck
-
2 RepliesYou can't boycott something you already bought... that's kinda how boycotting works.
-
Too bad I already bought it, but yeah we should. I don't understand how after millions and millions of dollars made from previous releases, loot boxes, expansions, and merchandise, you release an expansion with an area the size of a pvp map.
-
1 ReplyI'm not buying it. For the first time since d1 released, I'm not supporting the game with my money. Having played d2 since launch, I've grown tired and bored with it. I'll not financially support a game that isn't even marketed to me anymore. This isn't the game I fell in love with. The problem with destiny was lack of content. The problem with destiny 2 is boredom, due to everything being catered to casual PvP players. Entire systems were -blam!-ed over in the name of PvP balance. As a pve player, this ruins my fun and doesn't make me want to play crucible

There is no way I’m ever purchasing another DLC unless Bungie announces that they will be reverting back to D2 re-rolls, guardian’s Supers actually being super, quicker charging times for Supers, 6v6 on bigger maps, and etc. In other words, it looks like I’m out for good. I will say this. D2 with its simpleton mechanics could actually be a really good game for Mobile devices and a good way to kill a little bit of time while getting the oil in your car changed.
-
Out in 6 days. Good -blam!-ing luck
-
5 RepliesCount me in! I haven't bought it yet and I won't either. D1 I bought three copies of everything. One for me and each of my 2 sons. This time around they will not get my money past the initial game without some serious changes. D1 was a worthwhile investment and fun to play. This just feels like theft!
-
For sure. The dlc looks like more cut content anyway
-
1 ReplyI'll buy Curse of Osiris when the fixes have been implemented in a free update, if they are included in any way within a DLC and I have to buy the DLC to get the changes, I'm done with Bungie for good
-
I made the mistake of pre-ordering both DLC's along with the main game. Not sure if I can cancel the DLC purchases, but I would if I could
-
i know i don't have time nor desire to play it. i have found there are many other games out there that are way better than destiny. i won't be going back any time soon.

Edited by LoneStar: 11/29/2017 4:32:23 PMI think Bungie should pull an Assassins Creed Unity and make the first expansion free, to earn the community’s faith back ... but that will never happen because Bungievision.
-
Edited by FoxMulder94: 11/29/2017 3:40:11 PMBungie should give us the 1st dlc free for ripping us all off

Edited by D1V1N1TY: 11/29/2017 5:03:36 PMI think this says it all .... #twotokensandablue #curseoftokens
