Should the community boycott Curse Of Osiris?
Content of the DLC aside, do we really want to send the message to Bungie and Activision that we will buy their product no matter what? With all the uproar about Microtransactions, and the deliberately rigged Experience points system I think it's a good time to put the foot down.

That would be futile. The only people coming to this forum are either to complain about D2, or defend D2. The complainers will, most likely not purchase OR purchase later than the initial drop date, and the defenders have basically already got the season pass. The vast majority of players who are interested will buy it, play it for a few weeks and then move on to something else, just like they did with the base game. Whether they buy it day one or months after is an unknown, but the people who would be willing to boycott are such a small minority it would not affect Bungie's earnings or Activision stock value in the least.

21 RepliesNope I am looking forward to Curse of Osiris. I actively play Destiny 2 every day and love the game. Yes I would like to see some changes, but overall I am very happy with my Destiny 2 experience so far, in particular the Raid, which is fantastic. If by community, you mean the entitled millennial crybaby toxic group here and the sad pathetic fools that feel the need to bash every single player and content creator that says anything positive about the game, then please do not include me as part of it. I am disgusted by this community. Time and again I see the same pathetic behavior. Individuals so angry that the game isn't what they wanted it to be that they feel the need to constantly bash anyone that says anything positive about it. That sad sort of person that thinks that just because they are unhappy, everyone else should be as well. I enjoy Destiny 2. It does need some adjustments and I have no doubt Bungie will make the necessary corrections over time. In the meantime, I will be playing every day, enjoying the hell out of a great game.

1 ReplyI already got the season pass. I’m stuck with Curse of Osiris whether I like it or not. I just lowered my expectations a little bit. This is the first DLC I’m just not hyped up for. They need to focus on more things than adding a kill count to your guns. Who actually asked for that? Im willing to bet they invested more time in Eververse than they did in the CoO story. I’ve already prepared myself for about a 3 hour story.

Yes. If you are a real passionate fan, who wants to see serious change, it starts with voting with our wallets! I say this not as a hater, but as a 4 year fan who was here day 1, whos platinumed both games and bought all dlc, silver etc. I want destiny to become legend...but not like this.

I won't play this game ever again.
