[spoiler]The conversation continues about how this game will evolve. Game director Christopher Barrett is also working on making Destiny 2 a game that will challenge and reward you in new ways. You may have heard from him in the past, as he introduced new ways to play in House of Wolves and Rise of Iron. He’s an engaged player – a Guardian like you – and he has some new thoughts about how the world of the game should adapt to the way you play. CB: Hey, everyone. We've been playing the game in the wild for seven weeks, and like the Destiny experiences that have come before, we're always thinking about where the game is heading next. We're still planning when a bunch of the improvements listed below are going to make their way into the game, but we wanted to let you know what we're up to. Here’s a short list of updates we’re working on: New systems and rewards to give our most engaged players additional, optional pursuits. Better incentives for players who complete challenging Prestige activities. Better rewards and replay value for strikes, adventures, and Lost Sectors. Private matches for the competitive community (we are targeting early 2018). Crucible tuning like adjusted Supremacy scoring and better spawning rules. Better incentives for completing Crucible matches (and penalties for quitting competitive games). Continued improvements to Iron Banner and Faction Rallies, including uniqueness of rewards. Changes to make the mod economy more interesting and impactful. Ongoing improvements to Exotics, including adjustments to reduce instances of duplication. New ways to spend surplus currency and materials (looking at you Legendary Shards). An emote interface that allows players to equip Salty, Spicy Ramen, Six Shooter, and Flip Out all at the same time.[/spoiler] The latest "this week at Bungie" actually sounds good and actually sounds like that of the problems have been acknowledged with them being worked on to be solved. Just need to wait a little bit longer as it's not like destiny 2 is the only game may have a bit of a break like I did with D1 after the first month it came out coming back once the Taken King DLC was released People can call me whatever they want as I I don't care but thank you Bungie as it seems you are listening since some of the planned changes sound excatly what the game needs

So the dev team officially washed their hands of this non sense? I genuinely feel bad for the live team. Especially since their first thought was snowfighta and shiny ornaments. That well is running low.

not sold yet, but I will express very cautious optimism that the live team may yet salvage D2. Some of the changes detailed are just window coverings, but some have potential like a way to spend legendary shards if that means that vendors become more than slot machines, and the suggestion that endgame activities will give endgame rewards. No hype here, but maybe, just maybe some hope.

I think bungo plays warframe cause destiny 2 -blam!-ed up. We should get the 2 dlc's free as a fair compensation. I'm still waiting for my three raid keys that I've lost. What do you do bungie? Nothing. And I hate this new token system. What would bungo say, if they got tokens instead of my money? And they should redeem it for cash? Bungo should go to every player and change it for loot! I would say: "Oh bungo. I'm so sorry, but I need 10 more tokens for your next random loot! Maybe you get my money or a piece of shit."

21 RepliesCozmo, the last straw was your decision to make micro transactions a priority, over the entire player base that actually PAID for the game. You can't disable an emote? A known glitch that has existed for weeks? This isn't anything new. You decide to disable content from the game for half a month, just to protect your micro transaction platform. It's disgusting. Disable the damn emote, or multiple emotes, and give players the limited content they ALL PAID for. It's disgusting. Greedy pigs.

12 RepliesDear Bungie, Thank you for a wonderful game. Please make it better. My guardian feels like everyone else. All of the guns are re-skins, none of the gun perks truly feel like they help in play. My exotics don't feel like exotics. That is what made me feel like my own guardian in year one. Why did you guys take weapon and gear rolls out of the game? What is the difference between my first Better Devils and my seventh? Weapon and Gear rolls is something that made my guardian great and made me one out of millions. PVP Thank you for the new map lay outs. Can you please make all guns usable again. Having a meta is not a bad thing, but you never want the game play to be one sided. In D1, the meta was Mida but you were able to use a hawksaw, eyasluna, or sidearm to combat against it. You are forcing me to play a style of gun play that does not really interest me. I am not the best player around but I'm ok. Can you not make the TTK the same for all guns with the exception for heavy? I wish there was a little more thought put in the design of the gun play. Trials I am not good at trials. I enjoy going in, and playing with my friends. But now, Trials takes incredibly too long to play. I can only get destroyed so many times until I have to play something else. Losing is part of the game, but why do I have to get pooped on for 20 mins straight for one match. What was wrong with the original set up of trials? Please shorten the matches. People will make money off trials regardless of what you do. Sometimes Bungie needs to remember “ If something is not broken don’t fix it” Raid Thank you for the new raid, I have beaten the raid many times now. By far, this is the least exciting raid. VOG was so exciting to jump into the pits of the Vex and battle Aethon with my 6 fireteam members in a blaze of glory. Where is the adventure I get to share with my clan now, Where is the fun? All it is, is super mechanics heavy. If one of your teammates is a weak link you are screwed. Why make that design? We had so many great adventures in D1 I guess I was expecting more out of this Raid. It is missing the mark on the adventure. Guided Games This is an amazing idea, but there are many problems. Our clan has done guided games a few times now and every time we play, there is a glitch where once we die we are not able to re-spawn. We have to blast off to space and begin over again with no check points. This happened 3 times in a row. Once we are in space, we finish the raid with the random Guardian. There is no reward for helping out. We just use LFG now, because it is the same thing with out the wait and Guided Games is broken. Hard Raid. This is a bit broken . I ran calus all weekend and there are so many glitches that prevent you from beating the raid, mainly in the void room. (going through the barrier or being pushed off the barrier to the left) Also, How come the red bared enemies do more damage than the yellow bar? What is the point? There is no new gear or guns. There are no special perks to help you out. There is no new level to be gained. Is it just to play something harder? Please explain to me what is the point? I feel like this really missed its mark on what it could be. There were so many great and amazing experiences in D1 I got to share with my clan. I don't feel like I am gaining any of those now. We just seem to find what is wrong with it and not what is right. I really hope that in December this changes because I don't see this version lasting long in the hearts of guardians. My personal ghost is fading off. Please bring some of the magic D1 back to D2, you had an amazing game. Also I will keep sending this till I get a bungie response back. Thanks for reading, Jacob

I’ve lost many good friendships with people that I formed in D1 that you ruined by doing flat out lies to the community and ripping us off.. by the way I bought the dlcs on accident I thought you would have brains and keep in what made D1 great but I guess not, I have been scammed by a AAA company which is awful and I will forever remember your corrupt and greedy way of ruining the magic in one of my most favorite games EVER.
