9 RepliesI'd fire the current sandbox team first. IMO, they're the reason behind so many bad choices for the benefit of PVP. They exerted influence into phases of the game they had no right to influence IMO. Luke Smith may be in over his head, but that doesn't take away from the fact that he has shown some decent talent as a writer. He may lack leadership skills. And that is okay. I'd reassign him and give him one last chance before giving him his walking papers. That's just my 2 cents though. IMO, current sandbox team - every single member - needs to go.

Luke Smith: Go on.... Person 3: And then at the end they can turn in tokens and choose whether they want weapons or arm... Luke Smith: Wait! I've got it! What if we spend less time in orbit? Yes, yes, yes, this is going to be the best improvement to Destiny 1!!!!!!!!!!! This is exactly how this meeting went down...

5 RepliesThe Taken King was fantastic, probably one of the best points in this franchises history. I'm a 4 year veteran, so, I know the grind (the real one, back during year 1). Firing a guy because a game isn't exactly what people on the forums want it to be, is absurd. If anything, the guy has said a million times, that the game lacked diversity. In a sense, I agree. I just think they're too focused on pvp, which IMO is still fun in d2, but it feels a little weak compared to d1. Like, grenades are as powerful, supers aren't as powerful, etc. They obviously have a great team over there,but some things I'd like to see, is more world quests. More materials to craft things with. More social spaces to visit, and obtain different types of weapons and gear. Enchanting, would be sweet, or even adding our own perks to exotic gear. Power weapons need to feel more "powerful". What about random 1v1 duels out in the open worlds? Public events are ok, but create even more difficult events with some cult leader mini bosses or something. I could keep going but you get the idea. They have beautiful terrain on open world planets to explore, but it gets a little dull one you get over the public events, and the breathtaking sights on each planet. Use what you have, and add to the game and environments instead of taking crap away and giving us all the same static rolled legendary guns, or at least let us modify them some more. The pvp in this game will never be balanced and doesn't need to be perfect.

Disgusted with the amount of support this is getting. It's not your game, so if you don't like it then you can leave. It's Bungie's game and they can create it to be however they want, and anyone is welcome to a part of their project if you're interested. No one at Bungie looks to you for answers on how to develop their game.

Does anyone even know dudes credentials to be named director? He f ing wrote for websites doing game reviews, and then was a big part of the 1 up show. Really though, wtf are his credentials to have such a high position on a major franchise like this. If I sat on activision board I would be questioning a lot.
