Wrath of the Machine just felt like a more rewarding raid.
The weapons were nice and were and benefit in the Raid,
The Armor was nice and was a benefit in the Raid.
The Leviathan Raid is just lacking.
The weapons are lacking and don't have and benefit in the raid. (like extra damage to cabal)
The armor looks cool, but has no real benefit in the raid.
The three encounters before Calus are a joke.
The Pleasure Gardens and Royal Baths can both be one phased really easily.
Gauntlet is easy, it just takes a while because you have to go through all of the rounds.
It was fun having to slam axis and communicate on where to go next.
With Calus its just sit on a plate and shoot.
Get off before he shoots the plate.
Move to next plate and repeat.
Calus melts so fast there is no reason to do more that one plate rotation.
This token system is lame, I rather has an extra chest that I can open after every encounter instead of talking to a stupid robot in a basement for extra gear.
One step forward and 5 steps back Bungie.
Edit: I’m not saying that Wrath was the best, I’m just saying I enjoyed it more.

kings fall is my favorite. kf>vog>crota>wrath>skolas>leviathan.

Only done first part of the new raid and it’s seems fun. God I hope it’s a lot better than wotm, in my opinion the worst raid by miles

5 RepliesWrath is my favorite raid by far, always an enjoyable time with whoever I played with. Also the weapons are by far my most favorite in destiny 1, chaos dogma never left my inventory after I got it. Not to mention the sniper was god tier in pve.

1 ReplyEdited by Corrick II: 10/12/2017 2:11:40 AMHell yes. For all the flak it got I loved Wrath. Good variety, love the style.
-
1 ReplyWithout a doubt . Wrath was more fun the encounters were a blast and the rewards were guaranteed . -blam!- tokens
-
1 ReplyMy favorite raid of all-time. The music, the atmosphere, the enemies, THE LOOT. Vault of Glass would be my all-time favorite, but I was a beginner raider and LFG left a sour first impression.
-
2 RepliesI prefer the token system a general system across the board is better than tons of randomness
-
1 ReplyI enjoyed POE more then this new Raid.
-
1 ReplyThe first story mission A Guardian Rises from D1 was more enjoyable than this raid.
-
1 ReplyWotm = 2nd best raid Legendaries with the chance at an exotic at each chest on the way to it's end, not needing to relaunch and play maze/puzzles to get to them. Each encounter got you something, multiple if you opened the extra chests. Great encounters, cool bosses, fun mechanics. Not, run around in a circle, play sneak with glitchy dogs and do pre-warpriest phase v.2 while getting only 2 drops and tokens. My clan is literally thinking of going straight to callus and only doing him because of the drops.

In terms of "Raids I enjoyed more than Leviathan", I'd rank Crota and VoG higher than Wrath.
-
2 RepliesI like the new raid a full change from the other raids it’s fresh and new . Calus is a lil easy looking forward to prestige mode . No jumping puzzle , like I said it’s fresh and new with a good team it’s a breeze . And yes I’m a beta player from D1 . VoG was great , 64 completions, Crota 45 , KF 2/3 , Wotm 1.

9 RepliesWoTM was the second best raid they ever made. At least Leviathan isn’t the worst. That trophy always belongs to KF.

3 RepliesEdited by C1B3D: 10/11/2017 10:33:01 AMThe Outbreak Prime secret in Wrath of the Machine alone is better than the entire Leviathan raid.
-
3 RepliesEdited by CannyJack: 10/10/2017 8:02:34 PMLiked WotM far, far better than Leviathan. Leviathan (IMO) comes in dead last in terms of fun and compelling activities. Even Crota's End, that glorified strike, was better. Leviathan has more of a Prison of Elders feel. Disconnected events separated by a stint in the waiting room, before you can open a door and head into the next room. Plus, the enemies aren't...enemies as such. "Destroy lamps, or dieeeeeeee..." "Pollinate flowers, yessssss?"

1 ReplyDidnt get that awesome feeling when you finally complete an encounter for the first time in this raid Had it with all the other raids tho
-
aside from the boss leviathan was the best raid ive done
-
3 RepliesI like the Leviathan Raid itself. It's just the rewards for it are so lackluster that the Raid gets the flak for being a let down when it's the reward system that's lacking.
-
They went to puzzly on this one. Done it for the milestone, but I do not run it weekly. Will do prestige raid 1 time.
-
Vosik wuz so fun....because easy.
-
I hated W o t M I lost friends over it, it was fine until the final room, then people couldn't get it together and got frustrated, I completed it on hard mode and then basically abandoned it after a few falling outs.... I like the Leviathan Raid, but it is too mechanical and not enough free flow. Here is my list of raids in order of preference: 1. V O G 2. Crota's End 3. The Leviathan 4. Kings Fall 5. W o t M
-
1 ReplyNeither hold up next to Vault of Glass.
-
1 ReplyI think Leviathan is closer to King’s Fall than Wrath of the Machine.
-
1 ReplyEdited by Guardian Apollo: 10/10/2017 8:41:18 PMAtleast we get part of the theme to Aksis Phase 2 in Iron Banner, I haven't yet touched Leviathan i'm doing it with friends we still need every one required LL, I myself and 296. But the mechanics of WotM was so fun. Everyone was moving doing something, either cannons or bombs then slamming. But the SIVA density critical part is so amazing.

4 RepliesI don’t count it as a raid. I count it as a invitation to test our power. Technically we’re only killing calus’ chosen army to test us and whether or not he chooses to use us to further his agenda is his decision. In reality, his counselors could destroy us and our ghost with ease if he decided to actually attack us.

Hands down.
