You may not like D2 as much
Been playing D1 for 2 days and, wow, is it liberating.
Grenades at least every 25 seconds.
Supers 7 times in a strike
Guns with useful and fun perks
Legendary armor with fun and useful (not attribute replacing) perks
Modifiers that are actually now fun. compared to D2. Small arms NF this week and SA, void burn Heroics strikes,
Getting bounties worked on while doing difftent things
Being able to do a kill enemies or get material patrols outside the designated areas
Mayhem Clash( flavor of this week) and picking other crucible types
Creating mass orbs with supers, precision kills or grenades
Synth packs
SUNSINGER..
Subclass customizations ( missed this more than I thought)
Getting to use a Special wep and a Heavy at the same time. Man this was fun ( top of my personal list of D2 gripes)
Riding a sparrow with out some piece of terrain getting in the way
And many other small and large (opinion) things to mention
D1 feels so less restrictive and boxed in than D2 now that there is D2 to compare it to. And after a month of constantly playing D2, D1 feels fresh soo fresh
D1 feels like it should be the newer game. Man it's just so enjoyable.
Anyways if you're getting bored with D2 and just feel stifled and restricted go pop in D1. It's like the Wild West.
EDIT: I see alot of posts talking about comparing a 3 yr old game to a brand new one. My list has several, not all, things on it that were there in vanilla D1. The fun I was having and listed isn't so much about things to do, i get D2 wont have 4 raids, but what you can do with the provided content..

24 RepliesJust a thought has anyone actually work der why Bungie sold the game with 2 expansions?. I personally think because it's only been out for a month, it's brand new style and feel, this is only the beginning stage. Like construction you have phases not completed in one go... Duh. D2 is not the full the game yet, with the 2 expansions it is. Hence they have been advertising D2 all the time with 2 expansions cause it's part of a bigger picture. Create longetivity, most games dont create this, just shirt campaigns and online that's it, Bungie finally creating a story worth waitibg for and always stuff to do. Not Bungies fault you rushed the game like kids on speed. As the saying goes patience is a virtue. So far I have loved PVP and pVE .Faction wars was good ,just hope Bungie uses factions in Iron Banner. Gamers seem to know all but reality is they don't know what is going on right now and nostalgia is evident. It's a new game, with a story finally and new platforms, entirely new concept and with so much potential. Thank you Bungie, I am hopeful and patient to wait and see what is brought to the table for the future. I mean complaining a game that's only a month old and D1 was how long?. Insane.
