I think your clouding things tbh. Most the positive reviews came from big companies that cant review a gae like this in 12-24 hrs play, thats just dumb in itself.
Also most D1 streamers bum'd the game so hard, as their income depends on it! lol
This makes every1 outside the game think its amazing and much better, the fact is it isnt in many ways.
D2 is sold as a game that you HAVE stuff to do outside the weak story. Show me a game with 24-48 hrs gameplay, which has nothing to do after, and i guarentee you t has a story that smacks D2s out the park. D2s story is good compared to D1, which had 0 story cos Activision wanted to rip it apart, charge us for content that was in original game and make more money. Thats a fact
You cannot claim D2 will be a success as you have no idea what player numbers have dropped to already, and they defo have, and you have no idea what targets D2 had. Some of it def is fun, and it has some improvements...but its fair to say waves of articles on here arent complimentary and are about things in D2 that are much WORSE than D1. Most of them stem from poor choice or lack of worthwhile activities NOT because people burnt through it, but because of bad set up and planning from Bungie.
Faction wars still makes me laugh that that was an 'event' ....wow.
Bungie forgot who its hardcore players are, and how best to serve them, and now its only fans seem to be the die hards who refuse to accept its bad inany way.
Its madness. I played D1 for months and months play time wise, but i wont justify them changing stuff that wasnt broken and not addressing the stuff that clearly needed upgrading, to at least sit on par with other games over the last decade!

No I have watch video by hard core gamers that belong to credited gaming formats or companies. Even gamers that have created their own forums or YouTube videos.Read plenty reviews by most gaming mags or forums. Just like in D1 it's a very few complainers, did not say there are not complainers YouTube or gaming magazines. But most has been positive with just few issues. It's new there will be issues. Still Bungie can't please everyone, fact. Most developers can't do this but Bungie had been a success with destiny. And I believe they will continue. My opinion and so many others. I do still think there are issues, and bungie will give us more content and have given us what we ask for from D1 ,just missed a few issues. D2 is a great game and worth it's money. There are far worse games out there or better ones that don't give you this experience or longitivity. Cheers.

As an example, look at feedback and player reviews of Witcher 3....now look at player feedback and reviews for D2. We dont have to accept this level or rubbish, especially when its idealy believed D2 was rushed so Bungie didnt have to pay/relinquish stock options to Activision. I can totally believe that seeing the finished game. Timers on a nightfall are a cheap way to increase variety and provide a challenge. There are many examples of this in the game. Armour peices having reskins in a different colour too lol there arent even that many skins to start with! D2 has wayyyyyy less choice than D1, the raid is worse too, and the PVP changed to suit pvp try hard players, of which destiny2 own stats show this is a tiny part of the player base. We will see but i will bet some head honchos at Bungie get fired in the next 6 -12 months. Destiny 2 isnt engaging for long periods of time like the first game, that will effect the numbers on twitch streams, the dlc purchases/everlast sales and that will result in some maybe game saving changes.

This is just one forum and as a Destiny players for many years. This forum is toxic. Always has been and always will be. That's why not a lot of gamers go on forums, even me this is my first time in how many years coming on this forum. Even the guys I played with in D1 have never been on this forum. And I do agree on here it has been negative but there is still plenty positives, just gamers complaining about miner issues not major ones. Only a few major ones like this is a rubbish game and so forth, most about in game timers, etc. Still it's a forum and bubgies one. But still find plenty positives, a lot more on other forums and gamer pages, and twitch players too. I understand some are frustrated an crushed the game thinking it will be like D1 bit bungie told all it was not going to be like D1.Still you must do what you must, it's your choice. Mine is to continue playing and enjoying D2 cause to me it's great. Bungie had a lot of complainers in D1 but it continued same will happen again. Cheers.

Stats and friends lists dont lie. Hardcore D1 players are turning OFF in droves. If the forums are toxic, which they arent always at all, especially towards end of D1, then its because Bungie has done some awful things that defy logic. If you love D2 and think its vastly superior to D1 with no complaints then god luck to you mate lol i genuinely hope you pay a AAA title one day as you will be in heaven. This isnt a new game. In ways its much less of a game than D1. Its like a new fifa basically but at least a new fifa has 99% same stuff, D2 took AWAY most of the things players loved towards the end and replaced them with stuff people didnt want. I will make a prediction now that the new DLC for D2 will be the lowest selling dlc so far

Same was said during D1 about the Dlc's and D1 was successful. But thanks for reminding me why I have never been on this forum before. Toxic. Vast Majority of the gamers out there are not hardcore, so it's fine thanks. Anyway I like D2 and will continue to play it cause Bungie has not disappointed me as much as everyone and enjoy PVP now more than ever. Cheers. Won't be returning to this forum any time soon, just wanted to try to see if it had changed in anyway. It hasn't. Have a great one and enjoy.

That isnt true. People went mad as they found out Bungie sold DLC to us that was already on the disk! How can you call people toxic for being told they have bought something alreaedy on the disc they purchased?!?! lol im amazed tbh you cant see that not all blame or criticism is trolling or people being toxic. I pray you never get ripped off and complain in real life dude, cos its easy to just point and say " oh look at that guy being salty...how toxic" If you pay 40-60 pounds/dollars whatever currency you are a customer. Customer feedback is essential for success. How many times have you seen Deej or Cosmo on these forums recently? exactly. I feel for you in ways but its also makes me mad as Bungie will carry on for as long as people like u swallow this inferior treatment. Maybe when your light level gets a bit higher your be able to comment on the end game issues a bit better but good luck :)
