D2 Characters: Fresh start or old import?
Personally im at a cross roads here. I want to have at least 1 of each class but im stuck between importing my old hunter guardian or making a new one. Kind of want to try out a female hunter of some kind this go around but my old hunter has been through everything since day 1 destiny 1. Warlock and titan ill likely import over.

I made a new hunter first, and will also make a new warlock. I'm most likely going to keep my Titan.

My Warlock 'alt' I will be importing, I spent probably an hour customizing him. Assuming the ONLY think I will lose is the 'character creation date' and nothing else, I will remake my main hunter as an Exo. He looks like a 12 year old human boy in D1, such a shame I could never pay to have his character appearance remade. I never could play a Titan, but if I get to where I need a 3rd character in D2, Ill do that eventually.

Both of the above. I deleted my warlock, leaving a nice empty space for a new D2 Guardian. But I kept my Titan and Hunter.

On a new PSN account (old one was Japanese). So, fresh start for me.

2 RepliesI would do new cause I heard that if you just import your old ones you will not be able to get some of the real good gears and weapons. now if anyone has heard any different could you please shed some light on this for me please and thank you.

I'm going to create my secondary character first just to see what character creation is like, if i'm not a fan, then I'm porting my main D1 character over

Mix gonna keep my Hunter as she was my main for D1 but want to swap to warlock for D2 so gonna make a new lock as I didn't get attached so much. Titan dunno. Probably make a new one just to muck about with new Exo features too.

2 RepliesI want to see what new character customization options there are but I think I will import my character and let my 2 kids do new ones to see whats new... Now if there is no benefit to carrying over your old character I may change it?

2 RepliesWill their be any sort of penalty from creating a new character? Do you get any bonus to continuing as your old guardians? Not quite sure what to do... and don't have any sort of attachment to my old guardians!

Edited by x_justinn_x: 9/5/2017 3:26:38 AMI'm 80% sure I'll make a new character, I feel like my first guardian beat enough evil and my personal story for him is that after crushing all the foes in D1 he retired and got old (which sets this game on the wrong timeline I know but it's my story shut up) He died in the siege and my new guardian is his son or daughter (not sure yet)
