I would've preferred something more like having individual timed objectives within the strike itself that could be randomized. Such as "clear this area within 5 minutes" or something unique like "don't let elites recharge their shields". Little objectives like that would be more entertaining I believe. Having a total length timer is kinda bland and will indeed lead to rushing through the entire strike which makes it unenjoyable for many.
