Jesus -blam!-ing Christ, and I thought this forum was bad. The comments in there have shown me otherwise. You'd think by their reactions that Destiny touched them as a small child and liking the game makes you a [url=http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law]-godwinslaw!-[/url]. They're all as bad as Dobbins with the opinions. If anybody gets critical of the video or says that they enjoy Destiny, a riot practically breaks out and they try to kill your dog.

Ah yes BDobbinsFTW the person that: Does nothing but insult fans of a particular franchise, but expects them not to get defensive over insults. Complains about people buying games from major companies, calling them sheep, but it's ok for him to do it because he wants to "review" the game. Acts mature because he "loves M rated games and thinks that every game should have blood, gore, and tits and those are the ones with the most complex stories" Makes a bunch of asinine conspiracy theories, the latest being that the new CoD game is nothing but SJW propaganda devised by the Russians. I used to like him, but I had to cancel my subscription after his last video. He's just hate baiting at this point for views, & it's a little sad.

You don't need to be a fanboy to like the game. I played destiny nonstop when it came out and I enjoyed the crap out of it. But I wasn't blind. I saw the negatives and I always thought of ways that we as a community could fix them. I have never complained about something in the game. I've never been a toxic kid that shames people for stats. Every time I see someone that hates destiny, I ask why that is. Everyone has their own opinion of it, who am I to judge what is fun to them? I think that bdobbins is acting anti destiny. He words his videos in a way that he will appeal to the casual player. In a way he makes sense, but he over analyzes everything. If it isn't a beautiful sculpture in his mind, then it must be boring, shitty, contentless crap that anyone who likes it should be judged negatively. Simply trying to explain why he might be too harsh, or trying to give your own opinion on it, will have him list you as a fanboy. What he does now is not criticism. He negatively hates on the game for everything it does, even on the things they are doing right. The weird thing is that he is pretty good at the game (shown by his clips in the background. Half being him and the other being dr leatherwood who is a god at the game, praise the Dr lol). Bdobbins must play the game a lot in order to know so much, but his words don't match his actions. He continues to criticize the game on issues that have already been dealt with in order to create more trouble and hype. I'm all for expressing opinions. I don't care if he keeps making videos, but if the intent is to educate people on "see the game as it truly is", then he is providing a disservice since his message negatively biased. He wants you to hate the game as much as he wants you to believe he does, so that his theories make sense. They have stopped making sense for a couple months now. Before it used to be constructive. Something to think about from time to time. But it's gotten old, and he's basically an anti fanboy. I hope he changes so that he can provide constructive criticism fairly.

The same one who spent an entire video shitting on the D2 beta for being too similar to D1, then capped it off by saying he'd still probably buy it anyway? As if we're supposed to take what he said seriously after that? Here's some prospective, if I spent 15 minutes bitching about the new COD for undoubtedly just going to be the same thing as the last time but with a different skin, then ended it by saying I'd probably still buy it anyway, what right would I have to expect people to still take me seriously?

I can understand critiquing the beta, its suppose to be a taste for the real game and to some it wasn't as good, but saying the game will suck from a ~1 month old build is trash. Another thing, the guy is talking WAY too fast to be taken seriously at times (hard to understand at points, example: 2:30~3:00, but he makes a good point there). Another thing I like is how he defines Tribal Behavior, and how it affects us, and how he says testing on an old build is dumb than using the new build. I thought the same thing when I saw that in the updates, since it makes no sense to test an old build of the game that was already in changes (turbine part, gun balancing, etc.). But the last part of his rant shows that he really isn't putting his heart to it/loses credibility to me and doing it or views/troll Destiny fans is his last ~30 seconds when he turns into an immature manchild. If he had kept it out, he would have had a few good points, but as the internet says "Bad b8 is bad."

I can't take anybody that says the word "fanboy" seriously.

until a minute ago I was a subscriber....no more after the last few seconds of his video. You can have constructive criticism for a game. That's fine, but when I'm told because I'm a fan of something that I "suck dick" everything you say prior means zero to me

Of course, I defend a couple things and immediately some youtuber labels me a fanboy. Well, what a world I live in. -blam!- me I should've been born in the future.
