Transversive Steps
Is it just me, or has anyone else have yet to get the Transversive Steps?

5 RepliesI got them in the first hour, but then again, I filled up my vault with exotic engrams before RoI dropped for that reason. To be honest, they are only good for collectors value, they have marginal function at best. Moving faster in a crouch is alright, but you'd be moving even faster in a sprint; useless in PvE, next best thing to useless in PvP. The ammo reload on pickup seems like a neat thing at first. It's 100% pointless in PvP, because needing a primary brick for an instant reload and finding one at the same time just never happens. In PvE, you have to have a brick of the right type near you, you have to make sure to not empty the gun, and you have to make sure you don't collect it too early; otherwise, that pack of 3 rockets or 6 sniper shots? It gets wasted to reload a single round. I wanted to love these things, but they just never stacked up for me. A lot like the Astrocyte.

I got this exotic armor months ago. Since then I have decrypted many exotic boot engrams without getting another Transversive Steps. Yesterday I received 3 boot exotic engrams when playing Iron Banner. None of them turned into Transversive Steps. There was a similar thread on this topic about a month ago. The drop must be bugged. It is unlikely that Bungie will do anything about it, given the current status of D1. Xur sold Transversive Steps in week 107. We are now in week 152.

Haven't gotten boot engrams since forever that's all I use to get, only missing the warlock boots and the titan space helmet taikonaught.

I like many others have suffered the curse of transversive steps, until I did my nightfall today and got them.

Turned in literally hundreds of exotic boot engrams and never got them. I gave up.

6 RepliesThey don't drop from engrams, either that or the drop rate is extremely low, like Crux status. Most people get them from raids, nightfall or xur. Otherwise I don't think they can drop
