I wish I never played the BETA for D2
...because it ruined D1 for me. Now when I log into D1 I go to the tower and just stand there. I have zero motivation to play D1 at all now.
The BETA is to blame for this. I know that this seems to be a unpopular opinion around here, but I really enjoyed what I was able to play in the BETA. I am seriously looking forward to D2 now. So much so, that it completely annihilated my desire to do anything at all in D1.
Am I the only one, I wonder?

After playing the beta i cant even play d1 whats the point? Ive been playing single the uncharted series, tomb raider series and horizon zero dawn which ive been enjoying

Feels a bit pointless to do anything in D1 to be honest. I mean the last few weeks I've been grinding grimoire and age of triumph rank for those D2 emblems, but now that thats been "snapshotted" I dont feel to motivated to play, lol. Mind you, I'll still play the game. Destiny is awesome 😂 I' excited for D2 by the way, with the changes metioned and the stuff I saw in the BETA I am very excited.

I get this entirely before rise of iron came out I quit destiny, and after playing the beta I was confused to why I did. I jumped on crucible on my friend's account while the game was downloading on my Xbox. Then I realized the pvp wasn't fun. Titans running around shot gunning, that little red light indicating a snap was around every corner and the game kinda put an awful taste in my mouth. I went to PVE and it was better but the old weapon load out seemed kinda like and easy mode. I'm glad D2 is the way it is and I wish bungie got my credit. TLDR: destiny 2 feels better overall to me

The only reason I can play D1 now is for nostalgia every once and a while. Beta was great.

I am definitely looking forward to D2. I play a little D1 but not nearly as much as I use to. I am trying to find fun in D1 still, but know that until D2 comes out, I will just have to be patient.

The introduction of the third innate ability as well as super combo-moves. Noticeably better graphics. Not PC-level, but a decent improvement. Metal looks better, chrome looks amazing, textures have gotten an upgrade. Better looking ships and better fast-travel cut scenes. Visible weather affects. Jumps are slower, but feel more deliberate. Like your character has actual mass. Being able to mantel/mantle ledges. ARs, Fusion Rifles, Pulse Rifles and Shotguns feel like they did in Y1. Titans have better grenades. Bubble Titan gained a lot of versatility. Void Warlock can "cook" grenades. Way less lag in PvP. The introduction of K/D/A. Which, IMO, encourages team focused play. Etc etc etc. Going back to D1, the game is starting to show its age.

Your definitely not the only one.... and the cold heart announcement made my mouth drool a little so I really can't wait. I absolutely loved d1 and those memories will be with me forever but yes I'm ready for something new and bungie will give us what they give us so I've gave up on thinking about what's cool or not cool about d2 I just wanna play and play now :)

If people really played the Beta. And realized its purpose. Less people would be butt hurt. I'm sick of D1. Ready for new content could care less if was an expansion. Doing the same shit over and over....

I enjoyed the beta. It was a breath of fresh air! *Titans aren't flying at you at Mach 3 with a shotgun/sidearm •No premade teams hard scoping with snipers on one side of the map •no one-shot grenades overshadowing gunplay •fist of panic's radius isn't absurd. A "ground slam" that can kill you no matter how high you jump up or away in the air was OP

The beta wasn't phenomenal, but I liked what I experienced. And after hearing that Bungie has been playing a different version of D2 that addresses a lot of my concerns I had, it made me really excited. September 6th couldn't come any sooner.
