Won't most reviews take time? Destiny is an always online game. No one will be playing it until release day. How will it take to reach Lvl20? Then start getting some good gear and accessing endgame activities and gear?
The major issue with the first game is that the story ends about as soon as it starts. Then, unless you were hitting the loot cave, getting Legendary gear was just not happening. It took a few weeks to realize how bad drop rates truly were.
All in all, how long do you think it will take to get all the info you need to decide if you will be buying this?

Well if d1 started at a 7/10 I'm guessing that d2 will get a generous 5/10

2 RepliesEdited by DeusFever: 7/30/2017 7:22:28 PMI honestly think/hope Destiny will be an 8 out of 10. Most reviewers are casual players because, well, they have to be. This kind of game will never be perfect for a casual player.

Edited by Zelrons: 7/30/2017 6:37:26 PMReviews will be out in one-two days. Possibly the day of release for ones that will skim a bit. If you want to be an "entertainment journalist" then timing is everything. Reviewers will try to smash through a game as quickly as possible so they can get their review out while the game is still at its most relevant.

1 ReplyWell you know bungos already going to get a good one from IGN, they've been polishing that knob for quite some time now....😒

An hour; time to finish the campaign 😳

Or.....just a thought here. You could spend a couple bucks to rent it and a funny thing happens, you get to review it for yourself!!!

All I need to know is if the game feels as watered down as the beta. I won't mind waiting a couple months though, if need be.

After the first two planned expansions have been spent.

2 RepliesYeah i remember launch. I was top level and completed story pretty much straight away. Never loot caved as dislike all that cheesy nonsense. Its a shame the game is not open to reviewers a week early to play a bit.

Since its funded by greedyvision reviews won't matter lol people get paid all the time to say only good things

I'd guess around a week. Assuming they stick with the same rollout schedule as D1, the raid won't be available until Friday of release week. I expect to see "reviews in progress" that will update as the reviewers play different activities, but will hold off on a final score until they've tried everything. Personally, I'd say they would also need to have tried everything out as all three classes for it to be a proper, full review.

Bungie never allowed reviewers to review the game before launch... the first one took around a week to review and dlc took around 3 days.
