9 RepliesFrom what i saw in the beta, Exotics suks big time. What exotics i say? They felt pretty vulgar weapons compared to the other weapons in the beta. I`m having a bad feeling about D2...hope i`m wrong.

If Bungie thinks that giving us another Gjallarhorn like ROI for pre-order and then you basically get it through gameplay anyways, just a different color the pre-order becomes useless. They think I am going to lose my shit and preorder just cuz they are giving away an exotic? Again . Hell no! Wait for reviews guys. P.S. There is going to be nothing special about this gun when everyone will be running around with it after a few weeks. I know some of you wanted the Limited Edition and already pre-ordered so for you guys this is just icing on the cake but fact is when they give you exotics like that something must be wrong.

If it's bad then its a waste of design space for an exotic. Overall it's a lost opportunity for a questline if we just sort of get it randomly either at the beginning or whenever. Emblems, shaders, ships, sparrows, emotes, even level 3 armor sets are viable preorder ideas: keep exotics out of it.

8 RepliesThe fact that this is a preorder bonus undermines the whole structure of this game. This game is all about the hunt for loot, and with this 'pay us money upfront and will will get you it', takes away the excitement factor of trying to find the gun, and then the cool feeling of when you actually get it. Also, this gun is almost certainly going to be underpowered. Bungie 100% cannot allow this gun to be BiS, so they will take too much precaution when releasing it.(Similar scenario with the Vex and Necrocasm from D1). The reason they will do this is that they cannot have another 'Gjallerhorn or GTFO' situation like D1. It would be worse than that, as new people will not even be able to obtain it until December. I am disappointed with this, as I imagine there are not going to be many/if any other 'brand new' guns in D2.

2 RepliesThis is total bullshit. I've never ever seen a game give a player exclusive content or early access to content for preordering. Never.... except for every game in the past 5 years I guess. But it's still bullshit. This is a huge deal. They must have only thought of this because there were 100 posts about 1000 people out of millions, not liking the limited beta as a full game. Even though there were pre printed posters with these deals out, before the beta even dropped. I better get it immediately without having to do a quest, because that's bullshit too. I really hope they just give it to me, then when it's released for public in December, it gets taken out of my inventory and I have to then go work for it. Because that makes sense. Sarcasm. Sarcasm. Sarcasm. With every piece of info about d2 is released... the more ridiculous the complaints get. I don't think the beta was perfect either. But I am not going to judge the game...until I get to see the whole game. Because I care about destiny and I liked d1. I will buy every destiny, to see what they did. And judge it after 6 months of play.

I preordered too. If it is OP, it'll be nice to get to try one out [i]before[/i] it gets nerfed for once. Never got an OP before the nerf in D1.
