Finally it's about time. Now all he Has to do is ban the homosexuals. Hopefully very soon
He listened to the advice of the generals ya know, the ones who pretty much run the military.. The ones who know more about it and it's inner workings than ya know.. Anyone else. Life isn't fair. The military reserves the right to be unfair in order to protect its best interests. I can't get into the military either. Oh well, it's not the end of the world. Get over it. Oh right.. I made a typo earlier in a reply to you so my my point is mute.
The United States military is not some random social program, it's what keeps us alive and free. We don't need to waste our much-needed defense funds on political agendas and safe spaces that so not in any way improve our ability to "put bullets in bad guys". It's pointless and ignorant to allow transgender individuals into the military when they are clearly not mentally fit to serve.

10 RepliesEdited by Moshe Steinowitz: 7/27/2017 10:42:19 AMNext step is to send them to the Looney bin where they rightfully belong. MAGA And re-ban bestiality and Satan worshipping from the military again!
-
1 ReplyThat makes no sense. Trannies would be great for suicide missions or being kamikaze pilots.
-
2 RepliesThe military isn't a platform for equality. You have to be physically and mentally qualified.
-
14 RepliesI mean that makes sense. The military shouldn't allow people with mental disabilities be able to join

This thread is a gold mine

32 RepliesEdited by Flee: 7/26/2017 8:49:27 PMIt's absolutely disgusting how many hateful, petty and utterly moronic people trawl these forums and commented on this thread to contribute nothing but needless hate and prejudice. Shame on many of you below. Absolutely pathetic.

3 RepliesEdited by autimsoid: 7/27/2017 3:20:18 PMMaybe a ban on trans is extreme but I feel that it was a smart decision since a ton of people join just for free sex changes like no -blam!- off don't do that it's not fair and it's bullshit for our taxpayer dollars. I think trans people should be allowed to join but sex changes shouldn't be funded, until they prove their worth on the battlefield

2 RepliesDoes this mean I can dodge the draft by claiming to be a woman? Hell, that was easy.

“The implication is that even in the most extreme scenario that we were able to identify … we expect only a 0.13-percent ($8.4 million out of $6.2 billion) increase in health care spending,” Rand's authors concluded. By contrast, total military spending on erectile dysfunction medicines amounts to $84 million annually, according to an analysis by the Military Times — 10 times the cost of annual transition-related medical care for active duty transgender servicemembers. 1 ReplyHere's a thought: Trump can go -blam!- himself.

Edited by Yarbey: 7/27/2017 10:16:32 AMUh to be fair if they're on hormone treatments they're going to be unstable, being referred to as "hormonal" exists for a reason. They require specific needs that may not always be readily available as well, it's just easier for the military. And "easy" can save lives, milliseconds count in military operations. Can they do the job? Yes. Can they do it well? Likely yes. However why would you add more unknowns if you didn't have to? Those small little things are all things that take up resources and time I am fine with them serving in less dire roles outside of combat zones.

1 ReplyI'm trying to understand the backlash with this when the previous president had this same policy in place for 7 1/2 years of his presidency.

The way he did those tweets is like how my gf texts turned up to 11

I guess Trump has never seen a TG fight, some of them are tough as nails, I watched one of them beat the shit out of 5 dudes in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant, it was hilarious, even tried to give em a chance to walk away, lol...

I'm military. We just got guidance from our chain, coming from 'generals' about our accepting transgender policy. So this consulting seems... falsified to me. Twitter isn't policy though. Either way we are going to have to follow whatever official policy comes down.
-
Also, as I said in another reason, this is another pro for me to transition myself. That way, I can't be forced to fight for the clown when he starts a war.

It's about time.

Good, I think snowflakes would melt in the "heat" of battle
{-}7
1 ReplyFrom Maximillan Uriarte the creator of the Terminal Lance strip and The White Donkey graphic novel. He is spot on with his assessment.

1 ReplyIt's Trump being discriminatory again. Nothing new but another dispointing day for the US.
