Destiny 2 Beta Extended through Tuesday 7/25
The Destiny 2 Open Beta has been extended through Tuesday 7/25 for additional service testing. Expected completion is 6 PM PDT.
Expect service interruptions during more strenuous testing. Download the D2 Beta today before 5 PM Pacific to participate.
We will be doing a lot of testing during the extension like:
- What if we flip this switch?
- What if we unplug this cable that's labeled "Don't unplug this for any reason"?
- What happens if we spill a blue slushie on this important looking thing?
So things might get a little weird. Thanks!

5 RepliesGuns feel like water pistols. Supers are too short. Grenades still do toilet damage. Recharge speeds are still disgusting. And the whole business model feels like 2014 all over again. :) Get to work.

Really enjoyed the beta- not without its flaws but that's endemic to a non-production ready game...only wish I was able to play it more, as I was on business most of the time

5 RepliesNot happy with pvp. If you arnt with friends its frustrating as. 1 v 1s unlikly. Team shot at every turn. Arguments and sulkers at power ammo drops. 4 v 4 is a bit of a nightmare when team members quit because they cant get ammo. At least 5 v 6 you still stand a chance but three v four. You cant pull it back. Then more leave and its just a stomp till game ends. Golden gun duration not sufficient time to use due to animation, well all supers really. Pop it close as it dont last and everyone scatters. Atleast you could make them a little more stealthily. 4 v 4 out 6 v 6 back please.

14 RepliesI could care less. This lackluster piece of trash was worse than my lowest expectations. I ran each toon through the opening mission and the titan alone through the strike (hated it so much i couldnt do it again) then promptly deleted it from my system. I refuse to play your crap pvp ever again and dont think i'll ever buy anything bungie works on again. I loved vanilla destiny through the dark below but the game began to fall apart at house of wolves and Ttk through RoI was utter trash. Bungie effectively nerfed the fun out of the game and now with this trash offering in #2 the entire series. I hope that activision owns your crap development company by October because of this horrible halo remake you are trying to sell as destiny.

Oh em gee! I didn't have enough time to witness the spiraling dumpster fire that is Destiny 2! Now I will have a few more days to watch it swirl about the rim

PVE in D2 beta is tedious and boring. PVP in D2 beta is meh at best.

4 RepliesGuys, I know I'm not the only one to ask, and I kind of feel like a child for asking, but can you extend the time for the beta to Wednesday? My internet has been out all weekend (power as well, actually) and I really want to try the game out for myself. I've actually gotten desperate and drove out to my work to get it to download, so yeah. I'm not going to do some kind of chant, but I'm asking you as a person, to please just let it stay for a while longer. Thank you.

Test all u want I'm thankful I waited for the beta before ordering the supers are crap version's of older supers the hunter now pole dances instead of blade dance warlock Nova bomb is like watching paint dry the other super is a repurposed Titan sunbreaker with Twilight Garrison and weapons and armor light perk Titan is a Captain America knock off who still has the crap version of a bubble or the sunbreaker Suncharge with a shield not counting the messed up dual primary slots one with burn one without heavy slot packed with all special and heavy weapons skill tree on sub class dumb down can't adjust intellect discipline and strength cause now u use the armor to adjust recovery agility and armor. I would say u are more focused on PvP then PVE but the changes done to it don't look any better. I'll check back before game launch to see if u have address any of these things but I highly doubt it more likely nothing will change until September 2018 in which u pay to fix the broken game I mean the new dlc for 40 or 50 bucks.😉

I'm cancelling my preorder until I see your messed up weapons system fixed. I doubt you care, I'm just one guy, but there's a lot out there that feel the same way. Edit: this is based mostly on PvE. PvP is still enjoyable, but not enough to buy a game.

I thought beta testing would improve opinions on a game? Never seen this much hate for beta testing on any game. Your refusal to get dedicated servers is beyond comprehension although if you did that your precious streamers would not be afforded their competitive advantage. Sorry dude I sort of liked PvP not being sniped or one shot with a hand cannon but the lag and cheaters are STILL overwhelming. I for one won't be buying D2
