Aka rumble and 6v6
I know they want to try something new but I see no point in removing the game modes

Can't have a "new rumble gamemode" or "new 6v6 modes" 6months in if they're there to start with...
-
1 ReplyTo try and keep people interested! If they didn't it would be stale after a few weeks like previous dlc's They will drip feed us content which is bu%l<%it
-
They won't be available at launch. Chances are high they want to monitor how effective the code and networking is before unleashing the playerbase into 14 game modes.

2 RepliesIt may have something to do with less playlists, more easier to maintain? They may be embracing the mantra, 'Less is more.' ~TheGreatNike

1 ReplyEdited by CatMan: 6/25/2017 8:40:55 PMThey will bring it back, along with one page of vault space in an update. Aaannd sigh people playing(fanboys) will go bat shit over something that should have been in the game in the first place.

11 RepliesEdited by ClovenTrack620: 6/25/2017 5:37:46 PMPvP looks terrible, 4v4 only mode, abilities weak as hell, auto rifles look like garbage once again( after 3 yrs of suckingg i really shouldn't feel 2bad bad 4 them anyways) machine guns completely removed from the game ??????LOL?????, ammo economy changes and new gun set ups make no sense, handcannons will probably be overpowered as always, more roaming supers than ever b4, this is gonna be a shitt show...
-
1 ReplySo they give it back to you as 'new' content at a later date.
-
1 ReplyBecause they are fed up trying to teach Luke smith to count to twelve. They have called it after three years. It is 50/50 if he will understand 4+4 but you never know.He may get it....
-
3 RepliesCalling it right now : Comp, Private Game, and Trials all release soon after PC. They want everyone to have equal footing.
-
9 RepliesWell since D2 will almost assuredly have a newer, better net code, those things weren't "already made" for D2.
-
11 RepliesHere's an idea, why doesn't Bungie turn on friendly fire. That would completely change the way the crucible is played. It would go from death match to a more tactical form of play(which i think was intended in the first place).
-
1 ReplySimple you know have more 4v4 maps because all maps are 4v4. So you have More content to play Before you had 3 large maps well nownyounhave none and no small maps Less is more Bungo logic!
-
2 RepliesD2 is a reboot not a sequel
-
4v4 is probably better on their server load
-
How can it be already made if it was never in D2
-
It's a quick fix for balancing issues or its gonna be included in paid DLC
-
18 Repliescause thier shit ass P2P cannot handle anouther 3-4 years of current PvP styles. so they give us dumbed down PvP, say they've fixed P2P with a few tweaks..& the fanbois just lap it up.
-
Same reason other game sequels do it, so that they won't be a complete carbon copy of the previous games.
-
It's bungle's policy to relapse anything that is fun
-
1 ReplyMy guess is so they can "add" them to future dlc's to increase sales.
-
6 RepliesBecause they listened to streamers who prefer 4v4, in an interview with deej on IGN firechat he blatantly says they talk to triplewreck and a few others, I personally have no idea who triplewreck is except for 1 live stream for trials. My point is those guys are 'professional PVP'ers so that game mode suits their style but the majority love 6V6 game modes. I guess now we'll see actually how much bungee listens to it's community. 🤔
-
1 ReplyBecause normal people wouldn't play 4v4 and all the basement dwellers would get all salty over the player base of 4v4 being competitive instead of pub stomps. By forcing normal/average players to play the 4v4 all the cocksucker no lifes will have less of a chance of playing against each other and a better chance of going 40 - 3 to make stupid ass videos that nobody cares about.
-
You can pack a game full of traffic heavy features when they don't even know if everything runs fine at launch for the basics. So while PvP will be there, private matches won't at launch. Not a big deal if you ask me.
-
1 ReplyI've been pretty flexible with Bungie in D1. But if they try to sell private matches to us as DLC, I WILL.........
cry.
Seeing as Strike scoring (along with all the nice little extras that came in SRL 2016) came so late in Destiny's lifecycle, I wouldn't rule out Strike Scoring not being in Destiny 2 at launch for Heroics and Nightfalls. As expected, the Weekly Story will devolve into Daily Heroics and Weekly Featured Raids will devolve into Weekly Checkpoints until more Raids come into the fold.

12 RepliesPrivate matches not being in destiny 2 at launch had me upset
