With every reveal and interview, D2 looks worse
[b]Since the original reveal we have been told that:[/b]
There are no dedicated servers.
Special Weapon slots have been removed.
6v6 crucible has been removed.
4v4 crucible, increasing the penalty to solo players.
Rumble has been removed (may return later)
Power ammo can only be picked up by one player.
Ships are still just loading screens.
Vaults will still not have any Loadout or Sorting facilities.
No separation to balancing PvP and PvE.
Machine guns removed.
Guided Games not available for Nightfalls and heroic endgame activity.
Private games removed on launch.
Taken are back.

1 ReplyCan you explain dedicated servers for me? Because everyone says this but half the people I ask about it don't even know what dedicated servers are. And please don't just google it, if you don't know I'm not gonna judge or whatever I would just like to see.

I don't even know what that means but if it's severe and affects the entire team, be ready for it to be a matter of exclusion like light level and "must have gjallarhorn" or "must have black spindle" and "must have touch of malice" nonsense that plagued the LFGs in Destiny 1.

I see a game that has learned from it mistakes. I see a game that is no longer trying to please everyone. I see game that is building on what it did well, redesigning what it did poorly, and coalescing around a much clearer vision of what it wants to be. I see a game that is doing a remarkable job of leveraging the power of new hardware to create a huge, immersive play world. I see a game that is willing to do some Halo fan service in pvp, but is starting to step out of Halos shadow in pve. In short I'm not concerned about the changes. I'd be concerned if I [b]werent[/b] seeing them.

It's just going to be another game made by developers that don't even play their own game. Then they will nerf, remove, and completely -blam!- up content that no one asked for. [spoiler]pretty much sums up D1[/spoiler]

Honestly this just isn't the direction I thought and/or hoped the game would be going in, I already pre-ordered, but not getting my hopes up for a game I have been waiting for over 2 years.

Each reveal makes me feel the way I did when my SO told me they picked something up in Vegas and I should see my doctor sooner rather than later.
